I'm willing to bet that those who are tearing at their clothes and gnashing their teeth would also classify themselves as "Christian" and more specifically that of the evangelical variety. If you Christians don't mind, I would like an explanation about why you believe that a person cannot in fact be forgiven for their past transgressions, because it sure seems to me that there are one or two passages about that in the book you are beating right now.
