Three things...

1. I saw rats in Regensburg that would back a hungry bulldog off a gut wagon. They were fearless, aggressive, and large.

2. UPI.com tags itself as "100 years of journalistic excellence," yet refer to the legendary German town as "Hamlin," not Hamelin. Pathetic.

3. What's going on in Germany these days that there is "a makeshift trash dump at the edge of town?" WTF? Since when are there "makeshift trash dumps" in Germany? Things must be going downhill fast.
