That's kinda sad, actually.

I think it'll be fun to see what contribution Bush has to the general lexicon. Like "Benedict Arnold" or "Quisiling", perhaps.

Sarkozy is zexy

That's good news, for anyone who isn't an American. I wish the new President took office a week or so after the election... waiting for Bush to be out of office is painful.

I dunno, I kind of like having January 20th to look forward to. It'll be like an extension of Christmas.

Bush is less intrigue-y, more invasion-y.

But if I was ever, for one moment, not proud of the US, I'm not patriotic. Right?

His old man already added something to the Japanese lexicon.

I'm glad Sarkozy appealed to Putin's sense of pride at not wanting to look like a redneck:

We have a month of environment-rape and special-interest-blowjob executive orders to look forward to, though. It's like looking forward to such-and-such date because that's the day you stop getting beaten with a stick.

I think Bush was more cozy with him than anything. If my left nutsack replaced Chirac, he'd be happy.

The more people dislike our President in other countries, the better job he is doing. You actually want France and Russia to like the US? I sure as hell don't. They like us when we are weak, dislike us when we are strong, like now.

You Farkers should put one of them bondage balls in your mouth and go to France.

The next tactic after the Bushwin is the "I get to bang Carla Bruni so therefore you should listen to what I'm saying". But then again, isn't Putin nailing a pretty hot chick too?

So that's Bush's ultimate legacy, isn't it? To be the "don't be that guy" guy for the rest of our lives.

And the US had no hand in that what so ever?
We were the ones who found his ass for the express purpose of seeing him executed.

I wholeheartedly agree with the execution but it wasn't just the iraqi's hanging him

Do I care if they like us, no? That's the sort of thing an infantile person who sees the world in "libs vs. cons" would think. I DO care, however, if they respect us and our interests. Right now, nobody has any respect for the US. Other than our nuclear capability, they know we are way overstretched militarily, and have zero political clout. We had the entire world behind us immediately after 9/11, and we've absolutely wasted that goodwill.

Not quite sure this is "mercy and pity".

I also don't buy Putin would care since, you know, he has been assassinating everyone else that opposed him.

Some times, such as the apparent case here with Bush. Your lifes meaning is only to serve as warning to others.

Bush is the worst disaster to hit the United States of Amurka.
