His medical bills ran $160,000. That suggests something more than just some pain. The amount of medical bills suggests surgery, possibly reconstruction surgery, on his family jewels.

Sometimes I wonder how I got through Little League without getting drilled at least once (some close calls though and we didn't wear cups). It was usually those kids that looked too big to play with the rest of us that were the fast wild pitchers. Man I hated them.

Probably why I never really liked baseball all that much.
