Big deal. I remember them offering Bill Clinton watches that ran backward back in the mid 90s.

Friends of mine had a wall clock like this. The cool part was they also had a big mirror wall in the living room (yeah, it was a 70's apartment) and so the clock looked "correct" in the mirror.

bobbette: At least now I know what to get Ashley Todd for Christmas.

If you can find her address, you could probably find enough Farkers to cough up a buck or two to make that happen. TFA says the watch is only $36.

Or just send it to her care of Senator McCain.

my grandmother is left handed and can write right-handed, backwards and mirror style all at the same time...freaks me out...she can't say the word "civilization" though...

On another note, I have about 10 clocks laying around my house that run backwards. I've made new faces for a few of them. My boss has one sitting on her desk that runs backwards and shows 13 hours on the face. I work in a hotel and people leave clocks behind all the time. After they sit in lost and found for a few months they get tossed, so I call dibs and make them run backwards. It's actually quite easy.

Instructable for clock backwardiness, and it pops!

I came here to say that I had a Goofy watch too. What's weird is that when you get used to reading time on it, regular clocks seem strange. I remember looking at a classroom clock and thinking, "what? It's 5 after 11:00? But I've already eaten lunch. It's more like 1:00 . . . oh . . . "
