Wow, sounds like there might be some highway Carsicle by the time things are over.

Nasty storm.

IT'S TEH GLOBAL WARMINZ!!!!!

/BTW, where's my incredibly active monster hurricane super-season?

2008-11-07 07:22:32 AM
Shenanigans! Global Warming doesn't allow for snow, let alone snow four freaking feet!

No, no, no... "global warming" is passe. The current climatological fearmongering term of choice is "climate change." That way- whether it gets hotter, colder, drier, wetter, stormier, or calmer- whatever happens reinforces the point.

Ugh...nothing but endless soul-killing rain here.

Yeah, ummmm....Actually I think that's called WEATHER if I'm not mistaken.
....Or has that been renamed to "Temperature Drift" or some such crap?

There are massive power outages and downed power lines across the west side of the state. All three people are outraged over the lack of service.

I got nothin but slush.

2008-11-07 07:44:02 AM
Oh hey, it's the first day of "Drive Like An Asshole" season! I've got four tags this season, I'mma bag me a big one!

Morons, just because you bought that big shiny 4WD/Hemi/small dick compensator, that DOES NOT mean you won't get stuck in chunky ice-water-slush puddles that span half a block!

Strange choice of pictures. Four feet of snow, and they show a guy riding a bike and walking his dog down a cleared street?

I want to see drifts across doorways and notes pressed against windows saying "Send help or I eat my kids".

I thought Obama said this was gonna stop now?

yeah no one noticed that little hurricane that hit here in texas either

2008-11-07 08:18:39 AM
Western South Dakota is beautiful. Just incredible - the Black Hills, Wind Cave, etc. That corner there is beautiful.

The eastern part of the Dakotas though....is teh suxxor.

jayday: There's a South Dakota?

Wow...

Yes there is, it's Montana that doesn't really exist. "Montana" is a coverup for the war we had with Canada in 1995.

I would like some 'climate change' here in Atlanta. Dry for too long, but the temps are perfect between 72-45 most days.

/put garden lime on the lawn 3 weeks ago, not a drop of rain to mix it in.

2008-11-07 08:26:56 AM
It's South Dakota. Normal weather there.

When I look into your eyes
I can see a love restrained
But darlin' when I hold you
Don't you know I feel the same

'Cause nothin' lasts forever
And we both know hearts can change
And it's hard to hold a candle
In the cold November rain.

From Kansas all the way up to the border we should just move everyone out and give the area to Archer Daniels Midland.

/Remove their senators and congressmen too.

2008-11-07 08:40:53 AM
November Blizzards especially in south dakota are not 'freak'.

South Dakota gets snow 11 months out of the year (not consistently though).

If this happened in, say, Texas or Kansas or something then you can call it freak.

In a saner world that would say "Logan Moreland and her husky, Timber". Or is it just me?

if by "freak" you mean not unusual.

So much for that global warming thing.

No mention of climate change in TFA, and not a single person in the thread who has blamed this on climate change.

Yet, 90% of the thread is a circle-jerk for people who want to bash climate change.
