"Since 1988, South Korean archers have trained by handling snakes, meditating at a Buddhist temple and walking through a haunted house full of actors in ghoulish outfits."

ok, meditation to work on concentration, snake handling to work on stayin calm under pressure, got all that. but actors in costumes?

I lived there, and kimchi was an aquired taste. In Korea: Breakfast = kimchi and rice, lunch = kimchi and rice, dinner = kimchi and rice.
That is, unless you went to Burger King for dinner.

ok the training would make sense if part of the archery competition included shooting the other archers before they shoot you. But last I checked archery death match was not an olympic sport.
