Wrong! gmail will treat s*tiennon[nospam-﹫-backwards]liamg*com as though it's stiennon[nospam-﹫-backwards]liamg*com. Do as suggested in the article and your mail message will bounce back to you (I just tried it).

Did Gmail make some change lately about periods in email addresses? I've had an account for a good while now and my address is (essentially) "myname*email[nospam-﹫-backwards]liamg*com".

Am I the only one that was allowed to have the scandalous period in their email address? Did Google crack down on this evil practice after I got my account?

A way to stalk your "friends" without being there. Not really stalking, as the participant is sending all of their useless drivel to the internets for all of everyone to know.

I was more than surprised to see that my surname (rare here, but not so much in Europe) was not taken.

Nope. It seems to me you can use the period or not, but if I've registered dalton*voss[nospam-﹫-backwards]liamg*com, you can't register daltonvoss[nospam-﹫-backwards]liamg*com - it treats them as one and the same, essentially.

I feel bad for her. Young young girl gets into the industry and gets into the drugs and whatnot and a couple of years later is washed up, moving home with mom, pregnant with some guy's kid.

It's a farked up world.

What is the point of Twitter. I have never installed this thing, but I have on occasion seen a "Twitter Feed" where it's something really short.

The problem is, I already don't pay attention to Facebook 'status updates'. So given that, why would anyone find Twitter useful?

It would be good for organizations who need to broadcast their 'today page', but other than that?
