Please remember to get out and VOTE.

Don't be complacent. We need numbers large enough to outweigh voter suppression, purged voter rolls, Diebold cheating, and long lines at the booth. There will be lawyers station at polls all across the country.

If you notice something wrong--SPEAK UP.

Here's a resource on Voter Protection. (new window)

It's hosted by the Democrats, but applies to all voters. In particular.

1. If you have problems, you are still entitled to cast a provisional ballot.

2. If you are in line before the poll's closing time, you are entitled to vote.

3. You are entitled to view a sample ballot at the polling place before voting.

There have also been reports of the touch screens recording the wrong votes. If you suspect your machine has incorrectly registered your vote, speak up immediately and request that the machine be inspected.

Because if politicians don't have the illusion of legitimacy provided by democracy, people might start distrusting them!

If you're voting for president, you're complacent and a little complicit.

And you're belittling that aim?

If you thought he was paranoid before, wait until he realizes that Darconix's vote will balance his out. In fact, I haven't decided which Farker I will effectively "disenfranchise" this election cycle. Rufus-t-firefly is up in the polls right now, but Mr. paranoia could pull a come-from-behind victory.

As in the several states where the electoral system is so corrupt that it kept candidates like Bob Barr off the ballot, despite (Connecticut) qualifying in every way.

Yeah, make sure to vote 10 times to counter all of the fraudulent ACORN "voters" who were registered. Voter fraud is at an all time high because the democraps want to steal this election because of thier lame ass candidate. CHANGE you can steal.farking libtards.

I love how when Democrats lose, there's always got to be irregularities. When they win, nary a peep. Never heard any voting trouble in '92 nad '96. Hmm...

You snapperheads think lines were long during the primaries??

Thank you SO much for this information that you posted yesterday in another thread. My vote switched to Obama by mistake and your post alerted me to the issue and allowed me to make sure my vote was for McCain. Thanks!!!

I've never heard of any problems in my area. You fill in the dot, scan-tron style, feed your ballot into the reader, and whoosh, your vote has been taken...

No hanging chads, no calibration glitches, no mysterious touch screen problems...

GYST!

Maybe absoluteparanoia will be voting for Obama (maybe not, I have no idea), but what does that matter? The message is nonpartisan and valid.

Having never been arrested, I think if I ever caught someone in the act of voter fraud or suppression, I'd have to go ahead and take a bat to them. Use up my feebie, so to speak. I'd just call it a preemptive citizen's arrest for treason, including free brutality.

Seriously. The people interfering with the polling process need to be taken out with extreme prejudice by anyone who considers themselves a patriot.

This is not a partisan issue. Exterminate these rats if you see one.

In an election as close as those two were normal anomalies become greatly magnified. That doesn't mean that people shouldn't be careful, but I'm just not sure that this conspiracy fearmongering is all that helpful. And the election this year isn't going to be all that close.

We have horrible ballot access laws here, but I really like the way the actual voting is conducted in Oklahoma. No machines, no punch cards. It's pen and paper, fill in the arrow next to your candidate's name. You have to be pretty dumb to screw it up.
