Laz Long: The world needs more random silliness like this.

What's strange is it was in the US and not Japan.

Uchiha_Cycliste: That was actually a lot neater than I expected it to be.
Kinda surreal. I had odd thoughts, like could it bounce and break a window in an office building? Could it bounce down the street and eventually make its way out of town? If It burst on a playground would the air come out forcefully like in a balloon? If only one person stood under it would it squish them?

I don't know who you are, but I'm at least mildly bothered that I processed the same set of things. I don't like being so predictable.

Egon Spengler: It is acting perfectly in accordance with air resistance with no bouyancy added. It was falling at the normal rate. It was just larger than youre used to seeing therefore appeared to be moving slowly.

Its all relative.

It's funny that it took someone named "Egon Spengler" to explain to the commoners about air resistance.

tcwatson: I witness something like this, and I think to myself, you know, maybe we're all gonna be alright.

My first thought also. I was having a crappy day until I saw this.

InovativelyFun: I live 5 farking minutes from downtown Dallas, read the farking Dallas Morning News every day, watch the news every farking night and I have to learn about this on Fark.

/was to busy to go anyway

I heard about it on the Ticket. Everybody who showed up got to register to win a cruise.

sevenpointsixtwo: It's reassuring to know that, in a time of crisis, Americans are focused on what's important.

You guys, he's right. It's completely impossible to focus on "what's important" and have a little silliness for a couple of hours on the weekend. Everybody! Back to SERIOUS!

cloeequips: Jounville: I grew up in a suburb of Dallas, and I can honestly say this is the proudest I've ever been of Dallas.

But how do you feel about your president? :)

Uh...the one from Connecticut who is currently in office?? Well, he has good social policies, not so good foreign policies

Right after the video ends, a security guard came and took it away.

The whole crowd booed.

I want to play too!

Reminded me of the worlds largest game of catch that happens every year in downtown St. Paul, thanks to the awesomeness of the Saint Paul Saints.

I go every year. It's so much fun if you live in the area and cam make it out next season.

Well, finally someone does have the biggest balls of them all.

2008-10-28 01:21:05 AM
I'd love to see that thing set loose on some large river in the middle of some city. Can you just imagine it floating by?

Right after the ball rolls off the roof, something gets thrown on to the ball...anyone know what that is??
