that stupid kid should have taken them to Indonesia & forced them to make Nike apparel. He could have made enough cash from their forced labor to BUY his own mini-golf course.
some kids never learn.

"He just pretended to be a probation officer and said he was taking them to Boomers. A couple of the parents did question him but they thought maybe he was on probation too and doing this as a reward."

Hehehe...

I think the first indication he was a fake should of been the fact he was giving a bunch of rotten kids an award for good behaviour!

First rule of a good con - always act like you know 110% what you're doing and that you belong there. Social engineering at it's finest. This kid has a future in politics.

Looks like this kid just saw Catch me if you Can

hahah what a dumbass

It's "Catch Me If You Can 2".

I wonder if the movie will create a spate of junior scam artists?

I don't often applaud criminal behavior, but kudos to this kid for a game well played!

"'Most, if not all, of the kids did not know him,' Letras said. 'He just pretended to be a probation officer and said he was taking them to Boomers. A couple of the parents did question him but they thought maybe he was on probation too and doing this as a reward.'"

So, the parents thought that the kid was on probation, but as reward, was allowed to impersonate a probation officer and take other probates to a miniature golf course?

Stupid parents.

I say his lawyer should blame Hollywood, Steven Speilberg, and anyone else involved in making the Movie, "Catch Me If You Can". Then he should sue Leonardo Di Caprio for $1 billion dollars and Leo's pretty pink panties.

How many probation officers in California are 16? Is it like the majority or something?

2003-01-03 04:27:33 PM
Ok, so my eyes are tired.

I read the headline as:

"16 year old posing as a probation officer takes 11
MINI-TEENS golfing"

I giggled like hugh Grant at the thought of 11 teen midgets in one golf cart somewhere in CA.

Hey Hipnerd

I read your article. His name in the show was Frank Poncherello, not Jon. Jon Baker was the name of the other guy, played by Larry Wilcox. Maybe he kissed you because you kept referring to his character's name as Jon?

This would have been funnier if they were Italian and all piled out of a single mini-car when the cops pulled them over.

2003-01-03 04:32:42 PM
...Ooookay.

There are some weird people out there.

Obvious stated. Move along.

Not fair! ;-) i'm still getting the giggles and my Bosses boss just walked past just in time to catch me Farking.

Still, Miniteens. Funny to me. If I had Photoshop I'd do a cereal box for frosted mini teens.

Was he trying to imitate the fishing trip from "Cuckoo's Nest"?

2003-01-03 05:13:26 PM
Exactly. I salute this guy! If you have the balls and act like you know exactly what you are doing, you can get away with lots of things.

2003-01-03 05:18:38 PM
Good one man, too bad you'll spend the rest of your teen years in juvinale hall(SPELLING NOT CHECKED).

I was going to post a reference to "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", but you beat me to it. Congratulations, glad I'm not the only one who was reminded of that

Rreames: You are my new hero.... Ghostzilla is one of my "Why doesn't anyone make something that (insert something that helps me slack)" kinda things... have you used it? Is it reliable?

2003-01-03 05:56:21 PM
Rreames

Cool. Too bad my department uses HPUX machines.

Im really just wondering the obvious question. WHY?
Why would he do this...I mean at least an adult who tries to take a kid and sell them to mexico has a reason for his actions. This kid musta just been doing it to see if he could get away with it.

2003-01-03 06:49:09 PM
Hahahaha! The parents should be arrested for being dumasses.

I can only pray for a son like this.

One flew over the cuckoos nest anyone?

anyone?

I have used Ghostzilla at work for a few weeks now. I haven't had any problems. I run it inside Homesite. It'll run in the background so I can actually get work done. When I want to check on fark, I just activate it, then when I need to work, I just deactivate it. Very slick. Just a few mouse moves will activate and deactivate.

It does only work on Windows, but I use Windows, Linux and Mac . So at least I can slack on one. :)

One flew over the cuckoos nest, indeed. A hero that kid is, indeed.
