She gets bonus points for thoroughness, but is a 0.15 high enough for those kind of shennanigans? I would expect you'd need to be at least 3 times the limit before fire comes into play.

drunk driving isn't bad if you do the speed limit and drive carefully.

I agree, it's a problem when you're driving wrong side of the road.

She should have stayed in the car.

Last time that happened to me I was knee deep in badgers.

Waking up to that headache so painful your heartbeat makes it worse and realizing "hey, I don't remember driving home last night!" is a scary moment, beaten slightly by running out front to make sure your vehicle is there.

/Only friend with vehicle for too many nights out.
//So much better with someone else driving, when your drinking is limited only by your wallet

She should have lit herself on fire. No way the cops would have caught her then.

You are not being careful if you are drunk.

How else would you have done it?

ROFL
/Its not rape if you only stick the tip in.

alenning: how this didn't happen in Florida I do not know.

If Florida was its own country, it'd be just like Australia.

Oh. Look at you all so high and mighty!

This woman is a hero! If she didn't torch her car, it would have been impounded. Once impounded, it would have made a perfect home for various marsupials, including the dreaded koala. Left unchecked in the impound lot, a multi-generational family of koalas would be free to roam amongst the cars. Eventually, said beasts would stumble across an impounded vehicle that had its keys inside. It's only a small leap to realize that these curious animals would play with the shiny keys and eventually start the vehicle. Now would you want to be responsible for a gaggle of koalas tear-assing around the Australian country-side in a Holden? I know I wouldn't. And neither did this lady. It would be like Christine except, you know, with koalas instead of an evil car.

So think before you post! It's essential we stop these car-commandeering koalas before they start. Bless you lady, you know what's REALLY going on around here!

/What the hell am I talking about?
//Stupid koalas, with their fur.

Sounds like she already did.

Everybody knows that what she should have done is "ditched" the car, walked home and then reported the car stolen the next day. Unless they got a good look at her.

/you can run into police equipment drunk and get away with it
//if you can get home unseen and report your car stolen
///seen it, haven't done it

They don't teach that in drivers ed anymore?

The cops aren't that stupid. They come by, ask you fill out a police report and also to see if you're drunk or not. Then they check around to see if anyone saw you drinking that night, and boom DUI, evasion and false police report charges.

My friend a few years ago was trenching yards in the middle of the night while drunk and his truck got stuck at the bottom of this guys hilly yard, so he decided to firebomb it. (Nevermind it was next to someones house) He called his friends up and asked them for advice on how to do it (they were all firefighters so I guess he wanted a consensus) but one of them decided to drive down there and help him tow it instead..so no firebomb. :(

Also, before you guys call my friend an idiot take into account he is not only a firefighter but a veteran...therefore he is a HERO twice over and how dare you question him you unpatriotic libtards.

Oh well, worth a try. She's like Macguyver with a drinking problem.

I read the article headline as "NSFW woman torches own car..." A drunk naked 25 year old woman setting fire to thing is very appealing.
