Damn, I was in Boulder LAST week.

Party on guys (and Farkettes).

2008-10-13 06:21:32 PM
hmm....not that far from westminster....

2008-10-13 06:21:41 PM
Can Drew afford to buy beers, what with the desperate t-shirt hawking and massive increase in ad banners, we figured he's probably lost his entire stock portfolio in the last few months.

2008-10-13 06:26:28 PM
This headline would look great on a t-shirt.

2008-10-13 06:27:47 PM
I live in a different universe. A pop up party is one that happens in the next 1/2 hour. 24 hours is like a month's notice.

2008-10-13 06:28:15 PM
You can only sit at the table if you are wearing a Fark t-shirt. Drew, you should come to my mom's basement sometimes when I'm awake. The sun hurts my eyes.

/only kidding about the t-shirt...get over it, people.
//not kidding about the sun
///thinks it is pretty cool that a big celebrity would invite people for beer
////the third slash was irrelevant to this thread
//have a New Belgium 2 Below. It's fantastic (and super strong).

2008-10-13 06:28:48 PM
nope

2008-10-13 06:29:20 PM
I just *might* go. Haven't been there since it was The Reef. C'mon, no one else? 'Cause that would make it kinda like a date, and that would be odd.

I agree. Dates are odd. Or so I've heard.

2008-10-13 06:36:04 PM
Yeah, especially when you are married!

2008-10-13 06:39:49 PM
Pretty close to my work in Broomfield, may stop by!

2008-10-13 06:39:53 PM
I will definitely plan on going only to forget to show up.

2008-10-13 06:42:10 PM
Is that near Pearl St.? I work on the east end of Pearl St. and could probably walk to 13th and wherever

on an unrelated note, why the hell would anyone stay in Boulder longer then they were forced to?

2008-10-13 06:44:00 PM
Will he sign my new T-shirt?

2008-10-13 06:44:06 PM
I like beer. I work till 7 in Denver. How long will this go?

2008-10-13 06:45:58 PM
In.

2008-10-13 06:52:35 PM
"on an unrelated note, why the hell would anyone stay in Boulder longer then they were forced to?"

Hmmm...Farmers Market, live music pretty much any time you want it and a lot of it free, parks all over the place, great schools, open minded folks, lots of cultural events, the mountains, great restaurants, Devotchka plays the 31st at Boulder Theater, ETown, KBCO...That's about all for now.

2008-10-13 06:53:41 PM
Come up to Fort Collins, and I'm in :)

Maybe next time

2008-10-13 06:54:21 PM
No! Stop asking! God Drew, take a hint.

2008-10-13 06:58:27 PM
This would have been the best Tshirt ever. Does fark have a "Money Whore" tshirt? :D

I kid because I love.

2008-10-13 07:00:28 PM

2008-10-13 07:37:47 PM
I work in Boulder; I'll try to be there!

Yay!

2008-10-13 07:41:46 PM
What are the details of this shindig (i hear its a western bar)

2008-10-13 08:24:04 PM
how about we move this one block down, to the walnut brewery, you know, where they brew fresh beer....

2008-10-13 08:48:50 PM
Wow, I guess it's been a while since I've been in Boulder. Lived there for 10 years, never heard of the place.

13th st. was for $1 wells at the James. Good times.

/The Walnut Brewery has shiat beer

2008-10-13 09:11:21 PM
How come this isn't available as a T-shirt?

2008-10-13 09:59:42 PM
I'll drive up from Morrison, but only if Drew promises to read my book "Killing Strangers". Well...will you, Drew? Will you read it? Huh? Huh?

2008-10-13 10:01:42 PM
I'll pop.

2008-10-13 10:15:00 PM
That would've made an OK T-shirt. Oh well...

2008-10-13 10:23:45 PM
I have to go to Cleveland for a nerd conference. I'll try to send the wife (which was what you were hoping for anyways).

2008-10-13 11:16:33 PM
I'll be there. But why the saloon? That's the worst bar in Boulder. Now the Sundowner....

2008-10-13 11:26:21 PM

jmr61: Damn, I was in Boulder LAST week.

Party on guys (and Farkettes).

Me too. Hazed & Infused, Walnut St. Pub.

2008-10-13 11:27:55 PM
Will you be wearing a shirt with this headline on it?

2008-10-13 11:48:38 PM
Awww crap!

Kid's got a band concert tomorrow night. Can't make it.

:[

Drink one for me!

2008-10-13 11:50:38 PM
Dammit, I am away on business for this one. I am far too uninterested in meeting a bunch of internet weirdos to travel as far as Denver for a Fark party. But it would have been something to have a drink with Drew locally in Boulder. Hell, I can walk home from the 13th St, assuming I don't get mowed down by stoned rampaging hippies on reclining bicycles with Obama stickers on the handelbars.

Bugger.

Not like it matters to me, but seriously, there are better venues than that.

RamblingKey: Can Drew afford to buy beers, what with the desperate t-shirt hawking and massive increase in ad banners, we figured he's probably lost his entire stock portfolio in the last few months.

Why do you think he is inviting Farkers to come along? Guess who he is hoping will be buying his drinks?

2008-10-14 12:59:41 AM

FarkOf40000Years: I move to Denver in 103 days. Cannot wait.

So, we'll go ahead and put you down for a... No?

2008-10-14 01:07:26 AM
damn...boulder, huh¿

i should be able to make that.

2008-10-14 01:54:40 AM
Want to make it, but can't.

It's totally worth the dollar to ride that bull though. Good times.

2008-10-14 02:22:37 AM
I lived in Boulder for 3 years.
That's more than enough for me.
Have fun up there.

/Colfax bars in Denver FTW!
