FTA: 10/9/08 - A former Tyrone Township man who pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography will not have to serve any additional jail time. 20 year old Michael Edward Bodzsar was arrested after a computer repair technician in Fenton came across incriminating photos on his hard drive in January and called police. A forensics exam of Bodzsar's computer turned up more than 280 pornographic images of boy's ages 12 to 14. In court today, he was sentenced to 3 years of probation and given credit for the nine days he had already served in the Livingston County Jail. Bodzsar, who now lives in Garden City, had been released in May after the judge learned he had been assaulted while in the jail and had lost weight because of a medical condition. He was also granted Holmes Youthful Trainee status, which means that if he successfully completes probation, his record will be wiped clean.

Most of the time, I want see sex offenders bleed to death, but this seems like a case where therapy and rehabilitation may actually work.
