The camera is shown attached to the window but in the demo it shows the frame of the window, indicating that the camera is mounted in the middle of the car.

But still cool!

Kinda cool, it was also nice that the system seems to understand that some of the buildings created a "no win" situation and provided a window for the player to fly through the building.
Though, I wonder how this thing handles a stop light. Does the terrain pause at that point?

So much for imagination O.O

It's cool, don't get me wrong--but whatever happened to the beauty of imagination? Not like it's used for anything besides boobs nowdays, but at least I used it heavily enough as a kid to be able to visualize great detail.
