All I know is that bubblesort isn't the way to hook up a search engine.

The UI error is that the site features, right in the center of it home page, possibly the worst search engine I have ever seen.

No, that's still cuil.com

And here I am, posting in it. We get some kind of special gifts just to be in here, right? A flash-drive with Obama's logo on it, perhaps?

Search engine. It's canned responses to predefined issues that looks like a search engine. Trollop and coont will get you no results.

they could have created the entire site with images instead of text and then searches really would go nowhere...that would be worse.

FTFA ell, in every case the search result takes you to one of the 13 issue pages or, which is completely terrible, leaves you stranded on top page with no result at all.

What do you want? The whole site probably is only 13 pages.

OMG!!! What a scandal! So juicy!

The GOP is already preparing for their loss in November by starting the nitpicking of the next President preemptively.

Don't worry, jagoffs, it won't blow up in your faces or anything.

Lord only knows what you're talking about.

Either 'A' You signed up for spam 'B' you can't figure out how to set up a filter or 'C' someone clicked on your profile and signed you up because they knew it would irritate you. . .or some combination above.

Obama doesn't spam people.

I don't sign up for jack shiat with this email, and I use gmail, and get about 20 spam emails a year. They're coming to the emails the university does publish publicly (which filter to my personal one), it's possible someone signed me up for them (obama supporters are farking psychos all too often) or someone's using the uni's published list to send spam too. Either way, I can't support that campaign, or the idiots supporting it.

I've received not one single, solitary piece of political email from any campaign amongst 5 email addresses, including a college address, gmail, and Yahoo.

Basically, you suck.

This "below the fold" argument is really insignificant. First of all, it's not below the fold for me or many other people. But I realize many people aren't running a screen resolution of 1680 X 1050, so the last one or two bullet points are below the fold for some. But then the author makes the assumption that people will be unwilling to scroll a tiny bit downward to read something they're interested in. Flawed logic.

Agreed, and I'm even running at the massively huge resolution of 1280x1056 (anyone who runs less is a trollop!). No "fold" issues for me.

I'll go home and check on the 1920x1200 and see if it still works.
