Isn't this the same argument as to when a politician runs as a Democrat but then switches to Republican and vice versa? Because in some countries, the hormonal therapy, psych therapy and organ fiddling is done on universal healthcare (or even covered by insurance). Facial reconstruction isn't, and not everyone can afford it.

It's a shame treatment wasn't available for him as a child. There's a 90%+ cure rate on Gender Identity Disorder. Most kids identified with GID grow up to be healthy, well adjusted gay males.
