It's amazing how hard McCain's campaign is trying to shut that little c*nt up. You'd almost think they think less of her because she's a woman and not because she's a f*cking moron.

Yawn.

Curriculums also are best left to the local school districts, instead of big brother, federal government, telling a district what they can and can't teach.

What's all this now? A Republican saying something that makes sense?

This.

These points actually make a little sense, but since they deviate from the narrative they are bad news for McCain. Wow.

Still waiting for the Sarah Palin pRon pics/videos to surface.

You KNOW they are out there somewhere from a former boyfriend/lover whatever.

It's not the fact that she's a woman that bothers people...it's the fact that she's half moron/half ignoramus.

I honestly don't think the McCain camp has a clue what to do. He feels the presidency his rightfully his and can't figure out what to do when it turns out a lot of people don't see it that way.

2008-10-01 11:39:11 AM
It's not sexist, just standard liberal press hypocrisy and hate.

Gonna be great when McCain/Palin win and they have fit trying figure out how their smears all went wrong.

What's hilarious about it all is that McCain himself obviously IS a sexist. The way he talked for her in the interview and kept telling her what her opinions were, it's clear he doesn't think much of her, or of women in general. Given that he's a womanizing drunkard, it's not surprising.

And Gwen Ifill, the moderator for the Biden-Palin debate tonight, is releasing a book "Age of Obama" in January. But it's OK, it's not like she's biased or anything....

/the MSM is covering Obama's ass big time, and even Farkers don't care...

Just took a little trip over to Hillaryis44. It's amusing that they're still stuck in the same mentality they had back in May/June. Ignoring 90% of the polls that are out there that show Obama in the lead, focusing on the outliers that show McCain ahead.

Oh, also, the polls cannot be trusted and they are being 'fixed' by teh Evil Obambi.

That site is a full-on Palin/McCain lovefest now.

2008-10-01 11:40:10 AM
Of all the Palin stories out there why greenlight this one? The fact that she couldn't name a single magazine or newspaper she reads is the bigger story.

The L.L. Bean catalog doesn't count.

No, I'm waiting for the ones she posed for as a young nubile inexperienced model, starving and living hand to mouth . . . you know, the "artistic" ones she posed for in Playboy or Penthouse.

COURIC: Having said that, do you think it would be sexist, governor, not to question your credentials and your policy positions?

Gov. PALIN: It would be sexist if the media were to hold back and not ask me about my experience, my vision, my principles, my values, you're right.

My mouth, it dropped.

Kome: It's amazing how hard McCain's campaign is trying to shut that little c*nt up. You'd almost think they think less of her because she's a woman and not because she's a f*cking moron.

She's not really a moron, she's just woefully underinformed, since she was given basically no time to prepare before being shoved into the spotlight. And she's not agile enough to bluff her way through it, mainly because we're watching what the candidates are saying more closely than usual and are correspondingly more likely to notice whan she gets it wrong.

She has decent instincts politically when she's not being swamped with bad advice from McCain's guys, too. "No, I don't" is the correct answer to this one. Remember Hillary's "They aren't hard on me because I'm a woman, they're hard on me because I'm winning"? And how when Hillary switched to claiming sexism it was a sign that her campaign was making its final death-flails as it suffocated to death under half a mile of o(bama)cean? Yeah.

I don't think she'd make a horribly good VP, either, but let's keep things in perspective, shall we?

Nice.

McCain's appreciation of the beauty of Asian women was so great that David the American economist had to move his Thai wife to the other side of the table from McCain as McCain kept aggressively flirting with and touching her. Needless to say I was irritated at his large ego and his rude behavior towards his wife and other women, but decided he must have some redeeming qualities as he had adopted a handicapped child from Bangladesh. I asked him about this one day, and his response was shocking: "Oh, that was Cindy's idea - I didn't have anything to do with it. She just went and adopted this thing without even asking me. You can't imagine how people stare when I wheel this ugly, black thing around in a shopping cart in Arizona .

Except that doesn't make sense. What should be taught in schools should be determined by experts in that topic, whether it's math or history or literature or chemistry. Those groups tend to be assembled by the state and federal governments.

mloree: b-b-b-but it's those hypocritical Libtards that are teh sexist!!!1111!!eleventy!!

Fark showed us that there exists a strong current of sexism amongst the supposedly 'open-minded' left throughout the primary season. I watched these people trash Hillary Clinton again and again, calling her every nasty name in the book. And now they do the same against Palin. I'm sorry you guys could never get a girlfriend if your life depended on it, but you don't have to take it out on all women. It makes you look petty and bitter, which isn't particularly surprising for people living in their basements, stuffing their faces with cheetos, and playing WoW all day.

2008-10-01 11:42:33 AM
Of course the coverage is sexist. How could it NOT be?

McCain did it to himself, after all. He needed to compete with Obama being black. So, his campaign said, "We need a woman running mate. I don't care if she's from F'n Alaska." Then proceeded to go to Alaska to find a running mate.

If they didn't want anyone drawing attention to the fact that she is a woman, they shouldn't have gotten a woman.

The obvious side effect of this is, the fact that she is a woman is going to come out in every single piece of coverage about it.

What the hell did they expect us to think was going to happen?!?

They did it on purpose.

I think for the next interview, in addition to bringing the old man along, Governor Palin will be outfitted with a very stylish shock dog collar.

"Well you see, Katie, I could see Russia..."
ZAP
"I've got more foreign policy experience than Obama..."

How is asking her to provide the name of a freaking paper she's read recently a lib smear?

2008-10-01 11:43:41 AM
Our Sarah's right. Sexism? Please. It sounds more like plain old Washington, New York elitism to me. Me, i prefer our traditional mainstream American value of rewarding incompetence and venality and then letting the economy collapse because of said incompetence and venality. That's what traditional Americans want, because that way they can sill think, "hmm, that Sarah's pretty darn smart, but I bet I could be President too!" Isn't that notion priceless? We need to defend our traditional American values such as this one. And job creation has got to be a big part of it.

Katie Couric must be thanking her lucky stars for this stupid bint being nominated. Couric is relevant for the first time in years, if not ever.

She does seem to be doing a good job of interrupting Caribou Barbie when she starts evading, and re-asking questions when necessary.

Again, when the hell is the full interview going to be on? This dribble of 'leaks' is annoying.

2008-10-01 11:43:45 AM
She sounds coherent again. This is to counter her sounding coherent all of a sudden at the debate.

2008-10-01 11:43:51 AM
Governor SARAH PALIN: No, I don't. I mean, I know that there--it's obvious there's some double-standards here, you know, in terms of what the media has been doing, but I think that's more--I think more attributable to just the media elite, the Washington elite, not knowing who I am and just asking a whole lot of questions and not so much based on gender though, but based on just the fact that I'm not part of the Washington herd.

Yeah she's weak. She should really try and stutter rather than repeating entire words. It appears the media will edit out partial words so a politician doesn't appear to fumble through an interview, even if they did.

Until he picked Palin, I was voting for McCain. So try again.

2008-10-01 11:44:45 AM
These answers are her best ones out of that interview. You may think she's dead wrong like I do, but they are reasonable.

How she handles an answer for 3-5 minutes during the debate will be more revealing.

2008-10-01 11:44:55 AM
This campaign has been, frankly, embarrassing for women. There are plenty of intelligent, capable women out there, but Palin manages to display every negative stereotype of a "powerful" woman. She's pretty but uses her looks as a distraction. She dresses smartly, but she proves to be vapid. She abuses her power by acting vindictive. She crumples under pressure, but the campaign defends her by playing the gender card.

When Palin was initially chosen, there were a lot of people saying, "Oh, ho! Social conservatives aren't going to like seeing a woman in power! They think a woman's place is in the home, so they're going to feel that she threatens their values!" Instead, they've got to be loving Palin, because she just reinforces every notion of women being the weaker sex.

2008-10-01 11:45:48 AM
So Palin is saying the McCain campaign is sexist because they won't let the media at Palin?

2008-10-01 11:46:02 AM

right, the press is liberal. You do know that they are owned by large multi-national corporations (5 of them), corporations that make sizeable donations to both parties, but lean heavily GOP... right? Possibly you're just one of these parroting morons who screams bias whenever the facts contradict their worldview?

I can't wait for McCain/Palin to lose so we can stop having to listen to the asinine drivel that flows from you and your ilk.
