Wasn't it Stalin who said it doesn't matter who votes, what matters is who counts the votes?

As long as the Rove team is around, McCain has to be the favorite.

If this were going to be a close race then I believe they could rig it to go their way. As it's looking now (knock on wood) it's going to be a landslide. That will be a little harder to fake.

The reporter raised his hand for McCain.
Zomg, media bias! Lousy conservative mainstream media!

They'll certainly try though. I'm sure the post election news cycle will not be reporting about the voter caging, lack of machines in minority districts, ballot shredding/hand selection of samples, and electronic voting "glitches" that will be popping up all over the internet.

Love it!

Dark days at Fox News? Yeah, they must be so sad being in first place all the time. That must suck.

As long as you're unable to count past "2" then this guy is completely fair and balanced.

Lucky for him, most viewers of Fox "News" can't count that high, so the results of this informal poll come across as completely believable to Fox's key demographic.

I could poll everyone here at work and it would be a safe bet that 90%+ would either me voting McCain or Libertarian. No I'm not the only Libertarian at work.

/Worthless post for worthless thread.

Crosshair: /Worthless post for worthless thread.

The point wasn't the scientific accuracy of the poll, nitwit. The point is that he did an informal survey and completely lied about the results in spite of the fact that the camera (you know....the thingy with the red light which broadcasts the movin' pitchers?) told an entirely different story. Do you think the guy behind him laughing "SPLIT!?! Hahahahahahaha!" is making fun of him because the poll wasn't accurate to +/-2.5% 19 times out of 20 or do you think that man is laughing because of the insistence of it being "pretty evenly split" in spite of the fact that only two hands went up on the "who is voting for McCain" question, and one of those hands was the reporter's?

(you knew this, didn't you? you really didn't need this spelled out for you, did you? really!? This isn't just a put-on mask of "obtuse"? Wow. Is there a lead glaze on your coffee cup?)

Winner.

It's Fox News - no one's ever suggested they're able to count.

That was the funniest thing I've seen in this election season so far. Absolute comedy.

What does "in the tank" refer to, exactly?

"It's split"

To be fair, the fair and balanced correspondent raised his hand for McCain, so it was split.

Him versus everyone else in the room.

Oh, and that woman smacking her husband when he tried to vote McCain was comedy gold.

And they were all old white people too! Bahaha

He probably thought "old white people they are going to all raise their hands for McCain" and he got hosed.

Amazing Old people don't like all their retirement money going down the crapper.

Scott the Twat: And his wife with the big tookus.

I watched that with my wife last night. We had to keep rewinding it because we were laughing so hard we kept missing what the two alter-kakkers were mumbling to each other.

2008-10-01 01:56:50 PM
I dunno... maybe the side of the room behind the camera was full of McCain supporters?

2008-10-01 01:57:29 PM
Hmm that old lady raised both hands, thereby voting twice.

Seriously, take a chill pill man. You act as if this is the first time the media has lied about something. This isn't Watergate, it's another case of a reporter twisting the facts, or outright lying, to suit their point of view. This is nothing new and has been going on for a long time by people from both sides. My post was a, "here we go again" type of ramble.

Sorry I made you blow a fuse, you might want to switch to decaf.

Only time I've heard it is in the Bob Dylan song "Bob Dylan's 115th Dream" in which it means "in jail".

"Now, I didn't mean to be nosy
But I went into a bank
To get some bail for Arab
And all the boys back in the tank"

Earlier in the song they're thrown in jail for "carryin' harpoons".

I know this is not scientific evidence or anything, but I know several people in Virginia who have always voted Republican who are voting Obama - every one of them made their decision to change based on Palin. Totally unsubstantiated, but for what it's worth . . .

I'm pretty sure she is also dead; typical democrat tactics.

Man what a tight race!!

Obama only has an average lead of 5% overall, and an 86 point electoral vote lead.

Plus every real news organization has Obama clearly ahead in PA.

Remember, it's back and to the left when you back pedal that quickly.

But good job on playing the official deliberately obtuse card. Too bad Bill_Wick's_Friend decided to call you on your inanity.

Some did yes. Did all? I don't know the camera was on fisheye to see everyone.

I'd like to have a clip that showed the entire diner before they got to that point. It would clear up if there were more peole than the clip showed.
