2002-12-27 12:35:49 PM
Emilykp

Where are you from in Buffalo? I grew up in Getzville...product of Catholic school(St. Greg's in Williamsville and Nardin Academy).

Just curious.

2002-12-27 12:36:42 PM
I wish I could go to the party...but I don't think I would be down with the ballet....

2002-12-27 12:37:28 PM
Wow. I grew up in Amherst and went to Christ the King and then Amherst. St. Greg's was one of our biggest basketball rivals. When did you graduate from Nardin?

2002-12-27 12:37:35 PM
Damn. I've got a friggin' wedding to go to out in Amherst and the reception starts at 7. How long you planning to hang out at Pearl?

2002-12-27 12:38:05 PM
1996...

When did you graduate from Amherst? I had friends there.

2002-12-27 12:38:43 PM
1992. I may have known some of their siblings. Its not such a big place...

2002-12-27 12:40:07 PM
Mindy Miranda and Maeve Holenski....they would have been frosh in 92 though..

2002-12-27 12:40:52 PM
Not ringing any bells. Sorry.

2002-12-27 12:42:10 PM
Hey, always worth a shot.

I wonder if anyone used that new website to find out if their street had been plowed after the snow on Wednesday.

2002-12-27 12:43:44 PM
Other than Shiney and myself, are there any female Buffalo farkers out there? (That includes anyone even visitng for the holidays).

2002-12-27 12:45:30 PM
Actually, I am not in B'flo. I am in Worcester, MA...but I kinda wish I were back in town.

2002-12-27 12:48:21 PM
Let's hope there are more people at the party tonight than there are on this thread.

2002-12-27 01:01:56 PM
Hey, Dick....excuse me, Rich.....Will milk be made avilable?

2002-12-27 01:03:19 PM
Mess with the bull son, you'll get the horns.

2002-12-27 01:09:30 PM
WhyGuy, why are you posing as the illustrious, real wise-guy? That's just lame..

2002-12-27 01:11:02 PM
Yeah, I was wondering that as well.

2002-12-27 01:18:18 PM
Where have all the Buffalo Farkers and Farkettes gone???

*tear*

2002-12-27 01:32:36 PM
Got plans this weekend, leaving soon as I can pull myself off this FARKing site. Keep me in mind for NEXT get-together.

2002-12-27 01:40:36 PM

2002-12-27 01:52:51 PM

2002-12-27 01:55:32 PM
The ballet? Gonna see the bear drive the little car around, eh?

/semi-obscure Simpsons reference

2002-12-27 01:55:36 PM
You know, I told them not to have a wedding on Friday night to begin with, much less between Christmas and New Year's.

Figures that the last few Fridays have been the same old same old on Chippewa, then the one Friday Farker's are actually doing something in town in the middle of winter, I'll be cooling my heels out at Park CC.

2002-12-27 01:58:46 PM
Themeaningoflifeisnot-

Park CC, nice. We used to have my skating club banquets there. Just cut out early and run to the ballet.

2002-12-27 01:59:39 PM
Gogi,

where did you get "wise guy" from?

I'm ......I mean that guy is .... the "Why Guy"

2002-12-27 02:01:28 PM
Hey,
EmilyKp & Shiney Mcsine. Grew up in Eden grad in 86' live in Atlanta now. Kinda miss the snow for xmass..... some how dose not seem like xmass unless i'm 2 feet under snow.

2002-12-27 02:04:49 PM
emilykp:

I am from your neighborhood - I live just a few blocks from Amherst HS. Do you still live in the area?

I would have gone to the party, except that I have plans tomorrow. More notice next time please!

2002-12-27 02:05:57 PM
Donkey_Punch-

I don't miss the snow because we got plenty here in Mass. But I miss the food and some of the more "buffalo" kind of things-like all the fests in the summer and Shakespeare in the Park, Elmwood Ave and the Tony Walker Tent Sale in the summer.

2002-12-27 02:07:28 PM
Shiney:

Good idea if it weren't for the fact that I'm balleted out after the stag. Besides, being a Southtowns native, I've had my fill of the cross border attractions during college and after. Enough money spent there already, don't need to add more unless I'm hammered and friends "make" me go.

I make that mistake tonight and I'll be broke when I hit Dallas and Vegas next week. Continental on the other hand . . .

2002-12-27 02:07:51 PM
Shiney -

You are definitely an Amherst kid if you love the tent sale.
I grew up in OP and we always thought the tent sale was a crazy circus....

2002-12-27 02:08:43 PM
BlackKnight-
I grew up just down the street from Williamsville North. I guess you could saw it is near Amherst...okay, not really.

2002-12-27 02:10:11 PM
nope, not really :)

It's still Amherst though.

Do you think you will move back to Bflo?
I moved away twice and came back both times. Once willingly and once by no choice of mine. (NYC and Colorado)...

2002-12-27 02:11:44 PM
Yeah, when I was in high school, the tent sale was always a good time. But someone stole both my Beauty is in the eye of the Beer holder and Mad Dog Brew sweatshirts. Damn thieving bastards.

Meaningoflifeisnot-
What?? How could any man be done with the ballet. I have never been as I have no real interest in that. But really now...although, I suppose the fact that the border people ask for passports to Canada puts a damper on things...and money..I understand that.
