nobody, not even terri schiavo, thought Heroes was any good.

eerily reminiscent of a certain address in early 2003.

Bite me, philistine. The two hours on Monday night were a hell of a lot better than all of last season.

Go back to hating the iphone.

Besides, Bush is more of a WWF fan.

Does he even stay up late enough to catch Heroes?

ToxicMunkee: Does he even stay up late enough to catch Heroes?

Cheney programmed the DVR for him so he can watch it after nap time in the morning.

Bush is too busy with his Superman Cape pretending to fly around the oval office with powdery rings under his nose as he goes 'zoom zoom zoom!'.

A rocking Dick Cheney says 'Hush'.

I agree, but the bar was resting on the floor. In the basement.

George who?

elvisaintdead: SHENANIGANS.

Aye, shenanigans X 2. The two episodes had a plot and more than one talking head. I don't think was able to follow it.

At best, he's asking the American people to help him figure out something complex, that can be easily avoided if people had just thought things through.

Like the whole Claire trapped in a house thing.

;-)

I'm going to play a drinking game where every time he tells the truth I take a shot. Anyone else feel like being sober with me tonight.

Hender: Bite me, philistine. The two hours on Monday night were a hell of a lot better than all of last season.

I agree with that, but honestly, last year kinda sucked.

Also, please kill off that stupid goo-eyed Colombian chick. She's too stupid to be a hero.

Myrdinn: Like the whole Claire trapped in a house thing.

Anyone else think that was a deliberate homage -- in the camera angle, in the music, in the lighting, in the slats on the closet door, in the look on Claire's face -- to Jaime Lee Curtis in Hallowe'en?

what_now: Also, please kill off that stupid goo-eyed Colombian chick

She has a superpower that nobody has even mentioned -- the ability to lose her accent effortlessly and to adapt an "American" drawl.

My wife noticed that. All I could respond with was "Snakes on a plane". This season is going to be full of gaping plot holes and WTF moments, but it's still fun to watch.

/Heroes is by no means a great show, but it is incredibly fun.

I was struck by the same thought. Some of the shots seemed dead on to the Carpenter flick, and especially when she goes into the closet with the slats.

I just hope Mohinder dies before he turns into BrundleFly, he and that large-breasted Colombian babe are both boring as shiat.

THIS THIS THIS.

It was a pretty good jumpstart of an episode though. Except for the kind of weird "copvision camera" when those 2 retards were going after sylar...Hiro needs a bit of work too with the Flash chick...

i would really like to hear about bush's take on heroes. why was claire decapitated, and does that affect her healing powers??? please, bush, shed some light.

this speech won't matter at all. it's just going to be a bunch of BS. mission accomplished all over again.

Heroes is so meh. Rising Stars was so much better and it's a shame that it likely won't be made into a movie because heroes bit off it so damn much.

He couldn't explain how to put on a pair of shoes, yet he's going to explain the terms of the bailout? The same bailout people with PhDs in economics don't understand?

Have fun with that, Cowboy.

Lucky them.

Heroes took a nosedive 2/3s through season 1. I thought maybe they'd save it in season 2 but after 1 nissan rogue filled episode of that, I gave up on the show.

2008-09-24 03:58:34 PM
Honestly just grant the $700 billion already. It's not like the tax cuts during the spring were that much less pricey. In fact, it might even have a similar effect like the tax cuts.

Just don't elect McCain/Palin else the foreign lenders are gonna start thinking we've taken a liking to this new flavor.
