I have an autographed book of Bob Ross Painting I got when i worked a public TV station in College. Bob Ross Ruled. Was a great hangover helper on saturday afternoons, He was sooo mellow with that big afro and the pretty little trees, a friendly little stream, and all that.

It was great watching that dude create these amazing places... so many times he'd be making this badass drawing and i'd just be like wowww.. then he'd wip out this big wide brush and make this big ass thick line right down the middle and i'd be like what the fark!?!?! but then he would make it ok and it would be even more amazing than it was before that big thick black line. usually it was a big tree.

Holy farking shiat!??!?!?!? Bob Ross (the painter) is DEAD?!?!??!? fark! farkin farked farking farkers! That sucks! That dude had some serious talent! Sure, he was a white boy with an afro, but he could PAINT!

I'd just like to say that they still play Bob Ross reruns on public TV at 7:30 am on Saturdays here, and that I watch them quite often when I come home after late Friday night benders.

Bob Ross was one of my personal heroes-- he even had a pet squirrel....

I was in Vietnam, Da Nang. Bob Ross was in my outfit. He and I used to smoke weed out of a shotgun barrel. "Ed," he said one night, "I'm gettin' outta this damned place, get back to the States." Killed two VC from the front door, ran up and snapped a third guy's neck with his bare hands. We almost won the war that day, and all on account of your so-called, "Happy Cloud" guy. Let me tell you something, Bob Ross was the meanest, cold-blooded killer I've ever had the pleasure to serve with.

I had a Ford SUV with firestone tires flip on me and I was stuck under the vehicle.
Bob Ross single-handedly lifted that wreck and I was air-lifted to the trauma center where I'm doing well and will be okay after a couple of years of rehab.

Bob Ross killed a bear that was threatening some tourists with a small stick that he picked up from the ground and sharpened with his teeth. I Saw it, it was so cool, he just calmly walked up to the bear and then it was like WHAM, he cut that farking bears' head right off man.

Bob was a hell of a player too. He'd do hot models 2 or 3 at a time. I shared a room next to him in Vegas one time. I heard a knock on the door and there he was...pants down around his ankles. "Glen" he says as he hands me a wad of hundreds, "get me some more coke". Then he ran back down the hall and didn't fall down or nothin.

There are tons of Bob Ross videos and products. My mom and I were watching a rerun after his unfortunate passing when she said, "I bet he paints sunsets now." Sniff, I had to wipe away a tear.
