Holy crap that was pretty cool.

I was hoping it was a compressed air computer controlled Gatling Gun doing it in under a second. Still very, very cool.

It appears that this is not real-time.
My guess is that it took a little longer to create this- easily 5 to 8 minutes. (Based on actual Photoshop Grand Master Experience).

My guess is that it took a little longer to create this-like 10 months (Based on no actual Photoshop Experience).

The speed is increased considerably with the Peter Parker Plugin for Photoshop.
The speed of the video seems slow compared to the speed of the Lawyers for Marvel and Sony filing copyright and Trademark infringements.
Let's see how fast he is with MS Paint on the Prison's 386 with 4 megs of RAM.

That level of skill with tablets and PS always blew my mind.

Pretty cool.

I'd be way more impressed to see him do it with real paint and a real canvas. No layers.

The Tropic Thunder viral video on that page was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Agreed the tropic thunder thing was better.

Why the HELL do they call this shiat speed painting? They call all these videos that.

It's just fast forwarding through a replay of each brush stroke in Opencanvas. fark. This could have taken 12 days, and you would still call it speed painting. It's just speed watching.

You know ... more importantly than that, it's almost ALWAYS done with a reference pick, and by that, I mean what they call a "wax layer" in OpenCanvas, where you have an invisible "trace" layer underneath that you can trace over and use the eyedropper tool to steal the exact color from the underlying pixels, and you can disable it's display during playback.

Nothing even remotely interesting about this at all.

Isn't this a repeat or something similar?

/just sayin'
