Road rage at christmas time.... isn't the holiday season grand??? That lady was smart going slow throu the moose zone. We have donkey crossings here, and when someone goes fast and hits one, the donkey and the people usualy die.

One great thing about the Michigan state troopers: IF traffic is moving at a speed higher than the limit (within reason) and some idiot is blocking traffic by doing the speed limit, they used to ticket the slow fvcker for "impeding the flow of traffic" or something similar.

Riggghttt. Well to heat the war up completely, if I hate to rate the shiatiest most dangerous drivers on the road in order it would be
1)Asian women
2) all other women
3) long haul truckers.

Now I'm the first person to get impatient with drivers under the speed limit unless the weather is really farking bad out, but the long haul truckers go 20 over the speed limit, two abreast on a fourl ane highway under whiteout conditions with black ice. FVCk 'em all... they are putting me in danger by driving like assholes.

I hate living in New York, the drivers here are fvcking morons. They don't accelerate at a green light and then everyone is trapped at the light, waiting for them to actually accelerate to 20 miles under the speed limit. Then once you finally pass them, 2 minutes later that same car is passing you doing 30 over the speed limit. There are many traffic jams that should not happen here.

Last month, a trucker had the temerity to honk at me and try to pass me on a 2-lane road (one lane each way) when I slowed to an almost-stop to avoid killing stray dog in my lane. What the hell did he expect me to do?

I put in about 50K miles per year on the Interstates. I am always more than willing to let someone pass. My view is that if they want to go faster then me, more power to 'em. Let the state trooper waiting over the next hill paint them before me.

For the record, I do think that people who drive slow should let people pass. It's the polite thing to do, but that's no excuse, and I mean NO excuse for other people to act like assholes on the road. I hate you people, and you all deserve the firey inferno you will all eventually end up in.

In my humble opinion, folks here are getting way too angry at the woman in the car. OK, she was driving under the limit, but she was doing so on the advice of local law enforcement because of moose traffic.

Folks, if you hit a moose, you at least total your car, and could easily die. I'm willing to cut her some slack for slowing down.

OK, so a chick driving a car in a heavily wooded area at night, maybe flicked her high beams at a trucker who had been riding her ass and flashing his own high beams at her for, apparently, miles and the trucker is justified in cutting her off and smashing the shiat out of her car and trying to bust in and get at her?
I like all these people talking about how she should have gotten out of his way. This is described as a 'major highway', yet it apparently is only one lane in each direction or it shouldn't have taken forever to get around her. I have no idea what kind of shoulders this kind of 'major highway' must have had, but I imagine they probably weren't wide and roomy.
She was driving a 'car'. That suggests to me a lower profile vehicle. This was an 'extreme moose crossing' area at night. You'd have to be a jackass to speed in that kind of vehicle in that kind of area, since moose are freaking huge bundles of flesh and bone perched on top of long as legs. Exactly the kind of legs that crumple and dump that big ol' bundle of flesh and bone directly into your windshield. Not a whole lot that crumple zones and airbags can do for you in that situation.
Yeah, as infuriating as slow ass drivers are, I don't understand the hostility directed at some poor chick who's trying to get home and not get herself and her child killed by plowing into a moose that will kill her if she hits it at high speed.
