Eeeeenteresting.....

No, no we don't. Why do you ask?

2008-09-10 12:46:01 PM
Well, they said this election wouldn't be about issues so you were warned...

2008-09-10 12:46:11 PM
Yes... I mean, no.

No, they don't. This is high political discourse for Americans.

2008-09-10 12:46:51 PM
God damn right, Obama. Don't play their idiot games.

2008-09-10 12:47:04 PM
of course it's "Phony and foolish", and you're foolish for not anticipating that reaction when you said it.

any idiot could've seen that they'd jump all over you for even remotely bring the "pig" into as a slur against Palin, just as the left would've gone batshiat if Palin or McCain used the word "nubianrdly"

2008-09-10 12:47:15 PM
Good for him. Maybe both sides can get back to issues.

Not counting on it. This election will the same mud slingin as all the others.

Issues? Nope.

2008-09-10 12:47:19 PM
Getting real tired of this type of politics. Are Americans really that farking stupid to fall for this shiat all the time?

2008-09-10 12:47:29 PM
Why is it that the more I hear ALL of these politicians talk, the more they sound like a bunch of farkin' 5 year olds?

2008-09-10 12:47:36 PM
This is b.s. political/media spin at its worst. There are plenty of legitimate differences and decisions to pick apart. Barack doesn't hate whitey, Christians, women. It is simple enough to break down: one side is carrying the GOP banner, the other side the Democrat banner. How do they make these lame-ass commercials so quickly?

2008-09-10 12:47:42 PM
^"nig*ardly

goddamn filter

"You know who ends up losing at the end of the day? It's not the Democratic candidate. It's not the Republican candidate. It's you, the American people. Because then we go another year, or another four years or another eight years without addressing the issues that matter to you."

Doesn't Obama realize election season is just a game of acting offended and complaining about the other side? Both sides do this. The media eats it up. So were stuck with this BS. However, i would've really expected Obama to understand this. It sounds like he didn't even follow the last election, where every single thing said was spun.

Next time he should just go right to "Sure, you can put lipstick on a whore, an awful lot of lipstick, but at the end of the day you're gonna be left scratching your balls wondering where your money went."

2008-09-10 12:48:26 PM
SMACK!

Great job, dude.

Call a spade a spade ...

2008-09-10 12:48:31 PM
After long drawn out 'newsworthy' stories about Paris, Britney and Lindsay, is there any surprise how the media is acting now?

They're out of practice.

/issues? what?

Well, at least he came out of the closet about his muslim faith.

You know Obama kinda reminds me of that kid who would throw a rock... then hide his hands... (to borrow a phrase that is....)

2008-09-10 12:48:44 PM
It must be awesome to be this firm right now:

Lipstick on a pig (new window)

2008-09-10 12:48:50 PM
Argh, its so stupid!

Xerxes99: Watching Barry meltdown is kinda fun!

Here we see high discourse from a typical American.

"I know! I'll call him Barry! That's funny!"

Sigh.

Now THAT would be hilarious! (I understand the filtration)

2008-09-10 12:49:09 PM
My god this is pathetic:

While Obama was still speaking, McCain spokesman Brian Rogers fired back.

"Barack Obama can't campaign with schoolyard insults," Rogers wrote in an e-mail to reporters, "and then try to claim outrage at the tone of the campaign."

It's like I'm taking crazy pills. WTF? The most amazing this about this is, people will buy it.

2008-09-10 12:49:19 PM
I thought it wouldn't get this ugly for at least another two weeks. The McCain camp really doesn't want to talk about issues or have Palin get out there at all, do they?

A sorry state of affairs for our country.

2008-09-10 12:49:27 PM
Ah yes. The whole quote taken out of context becoming a news story. If only someone had written a book about these sorts of non-news items.

malz: Getting real tired of this type of politics. Are Americans really that farking stupid to fall for this shiat all the time?

Seriously. Who the hell does he think he is, trying to discuss the issues?

We lost when Ron Paul was out of the running.

Among issue voters, Obama is leading McCain 56 to 37 percent.

Among so-called personal quality voters, McCain is ahead 56 to 39 percent.

This seems to be the enduring theme of this entire election, and I find it very telling.

2008-09-10 12:49:35 PM
He continued, "Now let's get back to talking about McCain's houses and intentionally misinterpreting his '100 years' remark."

/I agree with him that it's stupid bullshiat.
//But he uses stupid bullshiat when it is in his favor.

Confabulat: No, they don't. This is high political discourse for Americans.

Yea, you are right.

OK, who wants to end the attacks from both sides?

Hello?

Anybody?

/oh yea, its fark.

I can't wait for this whole thing to be over and done with. The election process seems to bring out the stupid in people...

Oh, and no - the Republicans don't have anything better to do. Whining bunch of old geezers......

FTA-
"We've got an energy crisis," Obama said at a campaign event where he had planned to focus entirely on education policy. "We have an education system that is not working for too many of our children and making us less competitive. We have an economy that is creating hardship for families all across America. We've got two wars going on, veterans coming home not being cared for -- and this is what they want to talk about.

"You know who ends up losing at the end of the day? It's not the Democratic candidate. It's not the Republican candidate. It's you, the American people. Because then we go another year, or another four years or another eight years without addressing the issues that matter to you."

2008-09-10 12:50:02 PM
why don't they just say: "Palin's not the pig; she's the lipstick."

2008-09-10 12:50:09 PM
I'd pay to watch Obama's daughters have a KY wrestling match with Palin's daughters. So f*cking hot.

2008-09-10 12:50:10 PM
Ridiculously trite nonsense. He is absolutely right about this. I cannot believe that people are actually falling for this shiat again.

2008-09-10 12:50:11 PM
I love how the liberal media is completely ignoring McCain's ad comparing Obama to a kiddie molester.

Thanks, liberal media. Thanks to your terrifying bias, we'll have a McCain presidency.
