Hmmmm, underage drinkers -- would it not have been better to seize the keg and allow whomever rented to pay for the replacement. And then inquire with local distributors about anyone who recently had to pay for a lost keg -- and then start comparing serial numbers.

I know that's sketchy but it's headed in the grown-up, investigative direction.
