Republicans thinking that the way out of "seven houses" is to make sure everyone knows John McCain is a kept little biatch...might be the most hysterical thing I've seen in politics in a long, long time.

mattbutler99: This makes it alot more likely that Mccain picks a woman for his choice...

He will agressively go after Hillary supporters now that they're REALLY peeved...

Def look for a woman...

hope..change

You keep trying. Maybe someone in here will agree with you. Probably not though. It was a good effort though. Well, maybe not "good" but it was...something.

PresidentPutz: Once again, the press ruins the suprise factor.

Yeah... we all know that the press's job is to prop up the Obama campaign and aid it in any way possible.

I figure I might as well ring in. Mormons are of the belief that abortion is allowed when there is trauma involved. They are not anti abortion, just specific on when it is allowed. Do not paint them as anti abortion as they are not they do allow it. The more you know!

muck4doo: Coco LaFemme: muck4doo: Donald_McRonald: muck4doo: And why does anyone care about how many houses he owns?

Yeah! Not even McCain cares!

What else did you expect from a dirty capitalist pig!? I'm glad the Obama's never tried to get rich, and instead helped their family members rise out of the ashes of poverty in other nations.

Should I pull up the news stories about Cindy McCains half-siblings that are completely forgotten by the McCain family, even though she's rich enough to help them out?

You know how those arguements go about sex scandals being worse when it comes to Republicans becuase they are about family values and are being hypocrites when they fail?

Apply that same thought, if you can, to socialists like Obama when it comes to wanting to take money out of others pockets to take care of the poor, and the POS can't even do the same for his brother.

/And Obama is rich too.
//Disgusting

You lost all credibility with me when you called Obama a socialist. And again, do you want me to pull up the stories about Cindy McCain blithely ignoring members of her own family who need financial assistance? And you know, she's got tons of money to spare.

slobarnuts: mattbutler99: Picking Biden, (somebody who can actually stand on the same stage with Mccain in terms of foreign policy), really magnifies Obamas greatest weakness...his inexperience....

It's like Obama himself knows he doesn't have the necessary experience...

This could really backfire on him....

Your concern is well noted.

Thank God Reagan had presidential experience before become president.

Reagan was active in politics for 30 years before he became President.

Your mistake was using reason ... that only confuses and angers them.

Good choice.

I haven't gotten an email, but it's on Obama's homepage. Wonder what that's all about. I suppose they didn't want to do texts so late at night but it got leaked, so they had to come out and say something.

2008-08-23 03:05:29 AM
Seriously, we'd all be working for state industry right now if it weren't for Reagan's Presidential experience prior to becoming President.

smitty1276: Now That's What I Call a Taco!: I actually kind of like the idea of a VP that is willing to be critical of the president. We desperately need to get rid of the echo chamber style of executive.

You like memes, do you?

Well who doesn't, smitty???

Do you disagree with the idea that we'd be better off if there had been somebody in the White House that had the balls to say, "Wait a second Dubya, maybe this isn't such a good idea?"

robsul82: Republicans thinking that the way out of "seven houses" is to make sure everyone knows John McCain is a kept little biatch...might be the most hysterical thing I've seen in politics in a long, long time.

Well when you're running a campaign as inept as McCain's has been, that sort of thing seems logical to you. Because you're not so much "planning" as "flying by the seat of your pants." Which is what the campaign seems to actually be doing. Just whatever comes to mind, put it out there and hope for the best.

RemyDuron: muck4doo: Pincy: muck4doo: Until then, it's still McCain for me.

Oh yeah, what's McCain going to do? Shake his cane at them with one hand while leaning against his walker with the other, shouting "Hey you kids, get off my lawn!"

Oh, that's right, McCain was a prisoner of war, so that automatically makes him a tough guy. At least as long as his prostrate doesn't act up.

Well, after listening to that well thought out refute, how could I not see otherwise?

/Jeez you're embarassing..

They know you from other threads and know its pointless to try and refute your ideas. Hell, if you read the politics tab and still think voting for McCain is a good idea, then I can't even begin to imagine how stubborn your must be.

Yes, I am stubborn against voting for socialism as a cure for all that ails us. You go ahead though. At least the packaging is prettier this time, and has nice labels like "Hope" and "Change" on it this time as well.

I have nothing more to add here, other than to point out that I was the submitter of the greenlighted thread last year about Biden's "first African-American who's articulate and clean and a nice guy" comment. As I said there, I didn't like Biden then, and I don't like him now. But he may bring a certain asset to the campaign in his willingness to get down and dirty and slug it out in response to the opponents' mudslinging, which that ticket needs.

Also, the latest news from "undisclosed sources inside the campaign" is that McCain has picked the Mittster. Oh God, I hope it's true. Is he trying to lose?

Concern trolls are concerned.

Good thing we have 700 posts to sort that out.

I like Biden-- just a touch too left for me, but he's still a mensch.

His loggorhea, matched with a no bullshiat attitude, is a plus.

How long until the 'Obama is a crackedy-ass crackas puppet' begins proper, in some weird racialized version of Cheney-Bush? After the first speech about black responsibility-- or later?

muck4doo,

Do you drive a highway to get to work? An interstate to visit other areas?

You do realize that they are the result of a socialist-like project that was created to put Americans to work and bolster the nations economy as well as strengthen the American Military to react quickly and effectively to threats to the domestic security (Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1956)

Sometimes a little socialism is a good thing.

muck4doo: Don't be lazy, and look at his website. He explains all of his issues there.

Hmm. And oddly, it doesn't mention the word "socialism" even ONCE! How can someone so socialist completely forget to actually put socialism into his website? It's galling, I tell you!

No, you're voting for Gramps Muldoon. And you know, he could help out his in-laws if he wanted to. Why hasn't he? I mean, if you're so hung up on Obama not personally financing some far-off relative in another continent, why hasn't Mr. "I flog my POW status too much" McCain helped HIS family? Hmmmm.

I like Biden too. Tough as nails, and won't take no shiat from any foreign threats. He is the balls to accompany Obama's vagina-sisterhood campaign. Some of the vagina following may hate him at first, but after getting a little breaking in they'll cum to love him.
