She won't be wearing short shorts to court again, instead she will wear jeans and a long-sleeved t-shirt.

Actually I'm betting on a bright orange jumpsuit.

Once again, kids, DON'T BRING YOUR DRUGS TO COURT.

Though clearly she's got a history of stupidity.

Just how many times has this chick been to court?

What does this so-called judge have against female posteriors, breasts, nipples, etc. I smell discrimination.

.."found cocaine.."

Well, she had coke in her purse, which she brought into court with her? She's obviously not smart to begin with.

Holy crap. Abuse of power AND a waste of taxpayer money.

We are waaaaaaay to quick to lock people up here in the "land of the free."

Jail space should be reserved darn near exclusively for people who are clearly dangerous to others.

Um... apparently you didn't, hoo-ah. I'm glad that our courts remain the one place where something resembling a professional attire can be enforced. Seriously, white trash folks, just because you can wear your pajamas and Ziggy t-shirt to Walmart doesn't mean you can wear them everywhere.

Speaking of hoo-ahs, thanks to swingerhead I can see that she looks like Janice Soprano after Slimfast.

Unfortunately, it's not really an abuse of power. The right of a judge to jail you just for the hell of it is a longstanding and respected tradition in the legal system.

Not saying that's a good thing; just saying...

My GF is from Kentucky, so I'm really getting a kick, etc.

I'm not really surprised by this. We went to her sister's wedding in Louisville this past June, and the women were showing a lot of skin.

OK, I'm sure this woman is ultimately trashy and is obviously an idiot for bringing her drugs to court, but are we under farking Sharia law? I know you need to look somewhat presentable for court but come on...

Judges have the responsibility to maintain the proper atmosphere and decorum within the court. The courts represent the civil authority of our Government. In most courts these rules are published. This young lady was warned once. She deserved a night in jail.

I don't think that's gonna do it either. Jeans will also be offensive to the dignity of the court.

You're still stating the obvious. Who was she hurting by being stupid besides the gene pool?

Was is court the other day (8:30am) and first guy called is there for an arraignment. His 4th or 5th DWI with all of the suspended license, illegal plates, no insurance, work zone goodness. The bailiff and everyone else in the court notice his lack of balance, bloodshot eyes, etc. They order him downstairs for a test. Minutes later the results..... .28 bac. At 8am, the day of your arraignment.

Some people are just plain stupid. All of the money in the world will not change the fact that society will have idiots who are out of control or just plain stupid. Some day when we accept that, the rest of us can move along a little faster.

When you go to court it is in your best interest to present yourself in the best way possible. Dressing nice will show respect and it will make a difference.

Oh, and don't take your drugs to court.

Showed up to jury duty once, and there was a guy on the panel wearing cut-off jeans and a wife beater. Judge instructed him to go home at the lunch break and come back looking presentable, or he would jail him for contempt. I'd be willing to bet the guy was also wearing a ball cap, but the bailiff must have gotten to him first.

It's a court, not a bbq.
