Unsurprising. I'm no fan of Mr. Arafat, but he's right on two counts -- in terms of whether or not bin Laden has actually ever bothered to help out the Palestinians, and on the PR disaster that would result if bin Laden and Arafat were considered comrades-in-arms by his non-Islamic supporters.

Their accusations (not in that article, but elsewhere) that Israel was busy setting up a mock al-Qaeda cell in Palestinian territory to implicate them aren't too credible, however.
