Well, 12,000 calories a day is roughly equivalent to one stuffed crust meat lover's pizza, so there's some synergy there.

/actually, those are only 4160 calories
//and only 232g of fat!

//or is that my dream?

That explains why I gained weight when I eat one of those for dinner. Now I've cut back to just pepperoni on my Stuffed Crust pizzas, and I've lost 30 lbs!

If I were advising him, I'd tell him to donate this freebee to a soup kitchen...would help feed someone hungry, and gain him even more respect and positive press. win-win

He's going to bankrupt them if he keeps competing.

Shouldn't he try to get sponsors who actually have money?

Interesting fact: Pizza Hut cheese contains a higher percentage of polyurethane than Phelps' swimsuit.

I tried that Pizza Hut pasta. It's pretty good but I think you'd get less sodium in your diet if you just ate salt.

he'd be better off with a year supply of DiGiorno's and Spaghetti-Os than Pizza Hut.

Interveiwer: How does it feel Michael to be the greatest olympian ever?

Phelps: Rolls Royce, Playboy, Sony...

Interveiwer: Huh?

If it was just Phelps, the company could probably absorb the expense, but it's the entire US Olympic swim team getting a freebie, so you're talking about expense times 30, even if Natalie Coughlin is too much of a food snob to eat there.
