My sore wrist is due to repetively striking down on golf balls that were resting on hardpan fairways. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Were you cocking your wrist properly or vice-versa?

To avoid this kind of injury kids, be sure to use a vacum cleaner, belt sander, or other similar electical devices designed to reduce wrist injuries.

Bongoman: I think you're trying too hard. Keep your wrist straight, but allow the hands to move naturally during the stroke. Grip the shaft firmly but not too tight (I use the visualization of trying to hold a wet towel without squeezing so that no water drips out). But most of all allow the ball to get hit as the strokes happens. Don't try to force it.
