And I "forgot" to tell congress that Big Oil is toxic.

Usually I don't take the sides of environmentalists, but this is truly farked up. Somebody got paid off big time in the EPA by the oil companies. This calls for some rethinking on my part on several issues involving big oil and the environment.

Yup, This stuff makes gasoline even more toxic, and the oil companies don't want you to know that.

i remeber hearing once that mtbe is basically a refinery byproduct that would normally require expensive disposal. i guess its much cheaper to just spread it all over the country. i also find it amusing that when it was first proposed as an additive there were many groups declaring that it was dangerous, but they were told the benefits in air quality were worth the risk, and the objections were dismissed. now years later, and too late to do anything, i see stories on the evening news about this topic presented as if it had recently been discovered to be dangerous.

Flies, I'm guessing this article's was autogenerated out of some other file (some kind of markup?) and that was a command or comment or something. Notice how there were also a couple of weird paragraph,

breaks in the middle of sentences.

If you want to see something really criminal visit the above.

Supplier of MTBE in Canada sues CA to prevent reduction of use because is is against NAFTA... geez farking kristo...

There has to be an acronym for MTBE that suitably expresses my rage... "Massive Toxic Bio Extermination"

I think we have a new topic for farkers...

Like Congress would give a rats ass once their palms were greased?

Perhaps if most of the government wasn't run by Oil companies, this wouldn't have happend. Of course people are willing to trade off the environments well-being for a reduction in gas prices, or something asinine and simular to that.

I'd blame it all on New Coke and Max Headroom
