Whether it's JUST sex scandals, or sex scandals plus corruption overall, the Republicans are the winners by far. The Democrats aren't perfect. But the Republicans are absolutely rotted through with corruption at all levels.

Bush's 2nd term came as a result of an extremely bad candidate on the other side. Kerry was chosen for one reason, he was a " veteran " at a time of war. He was not fully vetted prior to being nominated and he turned out to have too much baggage. Not to mention, the one reason he was chosen, his war record was checkerd at best.

As for your pre-emptive strike against those who won't vote for Obama. Shame on you for being such a vaccuous ignorant race baiting fool!

Believe it or not, there are an awful lot of people who won't support a socialist no matter what they look like.

Once again, Democrats have chosen a candidate that has not been vetted. Granted, it's hard to vet someone with no track record. That said, there will certainly be some people who won't vote for BO because he's black, Democrats proved during the primaries that there are people who won't vote for a black guy, OR a woman.

The bottom line is however, there are plenty of good reasons not to vote for BO that have nothing to do with race and your attempt to play the race card or play on this ridiculous white guilt trip nonsense won't change that truth.

I'm just curious as to why Obama isn't winning by a landslide right now. He's no more socialist than any other mainstream democrat, the last 8 years have been nothing but pure misery and McCain is running on Bush platforms. If Bush has an approval rating of 30%, why should McCain's popularity be any higher?

It's only the beginning of August. The campaign season doesn't really begin until September.

Obama is saving all his money for the fall. Things are going to teeter at roughly 45/40 for awhile, then sometime this fall, things are going to break heavily for Obama. Given the enthusiasm gap, plus the probable breaking of undecideds for Obama, there's a solid chance of an Obama landslide this fall. By landslide, I mean Obama winning by %55 or more.
