Incidentally, kamikaze(meaning something like"divine wind"),came from the typhoons that stopped two Mongol invasions of Japan in the late 1200's.The Mongols could have possibly taken over all of Europe if one of their leaders back home hadn't died and there had been a power struggle because of it.Fascinating stuff, those Mongols.

Is it any coincidence that the day this was announced was the anniversary of Khan falling off his horse and dying?

I'm very sceptical that he was buried in what today is Mongolia. It's like, the middle of nowhere.

i read once about how genghis khan got ahold of a baseball bat, but he was in this department store, see, and got all wierded out cause he was actually in the 20th century, and started beating the hell out of these maniquins . . . wait, now that i think about it, i believe it was actually a documentary i was watching.

I thought he got killed in space, in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan... now you're trying to tell me he's buried ON EARTH?

Well, according to that authoritative work that is the TV Series "The Adventures of Robin Hood", Genghis Khan made it as far as Nottingham and got into martial arts fights with Robin Hood. I can't find any other references in English history to this - could someone tell me where he landed, where else in the UK he went, etc.?
