Anyone else notice this FTA: Brook Ingham, 19. Judge Noel Walsh said Ingham had been convicted of driving at twice the legal alcohol limit 19 months ago. He remanded him to August 14 for sentencing.

Really? I thought the 18 was the lowest drinking age??

This is why we should bring prohibition back.
The stuff doesn't taste good, and its causing the downfall of our society.

If they legalize weed, I'm all for alcohol prohibition. I like the feeling of weed anyway. But then again, I'd definitely want a beer afterward.

Screw it, let everyone be responsible for their own actions and stop playing Nanny. Prohibition and the war on drugs is the biggest waste of government time in the history of democracy. I'm by no means a drug addict, I don't touch the stuff, but I had my days of smoking weed...and I liked it... and I don't really care for ANYONE telling me what I can and cannot put into my own body. If I do something stupid while intoxicated, that's my fault, and I should be punished.

Also, it's quite possible he's between 19 years 7 months and 20 years old, in which case he was over eighteen 19 months ago.

Prohibition is a philosophy of frigid old hags and geeky squares who are so blue they would shag anything that moves but are pissed off because alcohol isn't getting them laid!

You are sure to hear from them on Fark. The site has become rife with drunk driving apologists. They always know their limit and the government is waaaaay out of bounds to impose their tyrannical blood-alcohol limits on them.
