I am seriously, seriously sad about this. I started collecting autographed pictures of the Girls several years ago, but she was too far gone to sign an autograph. Dementia is horrible and horrible to witness; I'm glad she and her friends/family have some peace now.

She was a remarkable proponent of gay rights besides being a mediocre but hilarious character actor. RIP Estelle.
