I thought this dickhead would get away with it forever.

best. headline. ever. lmao'd.
my vote for #1 this year so far, though it's a close race with "Eau de humanite" when the perfume store burnt down.

It's a condition of Serbia entering the EU, it would have happened eventually. That s.o.b Ratko Mladic won't be on the run for much longer.

What an odd time to find him.

One war criminal goes to face justice, right after another is freed.

I can get 22 points, plus triple word score, plus 50 points for using all my letters when I spell the word KWYJIBO. Kwyjibo.

I get the feeling a lot of these dudes aren't really on the run, they're just chilling somewhere, not showing their faces too much. I think when the authorities want to catch them, they will.

Ok, Let's do this right now. Kill, kill, kill this motherfarker. While he awake and conscious, tear his flesh from his bones and limbs from his body. The swine needs to suffer.

He is responsible for my friend being imprisoned for many months, starved, tortured, had a grenade placed in his mouth and the pin removed.

Friend broke out and was awarded refuge in America. Saw a former guard at a supermarket in Texas. That went well.

Melt Radovan Hasnodick down, slowly. Feet first.

I assume he was captured when he arrived at the prosecutors office in a Serbian government provided limo. If the Serbians were serious about bringing him to justice, he would have been captured a decade ago. I assume this turnover is politically motivated to help with the EU discussions now that Serbia has found out that Russia can't provide the same perks.

That's pretty much how it is. These arseholes still have a lot of domestic public support and, as with anything else, the current political establishment have to see more benefits to pulling them in than letting them carry on going free. I guess the lure of the Brussels gravy train is doing its fine work at last.

So.....will the fact that the Serbian Orthodox Church directly facilitated the mass murder of thousands of Muslim men and boys at Srebrenica as well as the torture and rape of thousands of Muslim women and girls go unnoticed here, or will the Christians here take responsibility for their fellow Christians, as they are constantly demanding that Muslims do for each other worldwide?

We shall see.

My personal best is 185 points. Redyeing. My opponent was courteous enough to place an e between two triple word spaces. The y was on a double word space. 4 x 2 x 3 x 3. Quite the hard working tile.

Tito was a Croat. He kept the lid on that shiat.

It was after his death and the attempts of Milosevic to turn Yugoslavia into Greater Serbia again that things went bad.

Tito was too good for the Albanian scum to deserve. They flooded another land, bred, and caused violence to the point that the people picked up pitchforks and fought back. And remember, it went both ways. Your rainbow angels weren't as innocent as you think.

I don't understand why anybody thinks the death penalty is such a great punishment. Once you're dead, you're out of your misery. No awareness of suffering. Nothingness. Void. About the only suffering the death penalty causes is the dread of facing it, and possibly the method itself if it isn't a quick and painless one. Really the only people you punish when you kill someone are the people who were close to the person. The person themselves is not punished at all. They aren't around anymore. Once you're dead, you don't know if you died as an abortion, at 5 years old, at 20 years old, or lived to be 100.

What I would really like to see in cases like these (war criminals and extreme violent criminals who are beyond rehabilitation), is locking them up forever in a sensory deprivation chamber. Complete lockout of all external beauty that the World has to offer. Never seeing the sun, never seeing the sky, never seeing a bird or a flower, never seeing a book or a TV show even, ever again. Even only seeing the walls and a log of bland food at mealtimes - then lights off and back to the sensory deprivation void, for 23 and three-quarter hours per day, every day, for the rest of their natural lives. Let them live out a lifetime of absolute nothingness to look forward to, and let the sensory deprivation make the memories of their former life and crimes vivid and horrifying.

It never ceases to amaze me that we treat the worst offenders and war criminals in such a humane fashion as to put them to sleep like a beloved pet. Ending all suffering is about the kindest thing you can do to a person once they've gotten their life into such a miserable state. I just don't get how that's supposed to "punish" anyone.

Ahh, I see that Christian genocide is justified since the Ottoman Empire existed. I hope you're not a churchgoer. I don't think your pastor would be happy with that justification.

You don't want to deprive guys like this of their senses. You want them to feel.

Their daily routine should be a football field and a large pile of heavy rocks. Everyday they have to move the pile from one end of the field to the other. Repeat daily for life.

Kurohone: Tito was a Croat. He kept the lid on that shiat.

I am well aware of that.

But... He died. Then, independence came. Ethnocentric nationalism rose. Serbs wanted to control all of Tito's empire without regard for the change that occurred.

lost cause: Tito was too good for the Albanian scum to deserve.

It must really suck to see them have an independent Kosovar State, for you. Suck it. Suck it long, and suck it hard.

Of course it goes both ways, dick-cheese. When fighting for your own turf anything goes. ANYTHING.

Forgive me for not siding with the Soviet backed neo-nationalists. I'm American, it goes against my nature.

To be fair, Kigali had it much worse. Blue helmets don't (usually) have air support or any real assets to call in for support. I will probably never forgive the Dutch, but it is easy to talk tough and not be there facing what they were facing.

Their commander made a decision I don't think I could have made. But, peacekeepers really don't have the luxury of thinking offensively.

Yeah, that would work too. Either way, some kind of total and absolute mind-numbing and soul-destroying lack of reward for living, for the rest of their lives.

I'm glad the Serbs finally decided to turn him in. I guess membership in the EU is worth a couple token genocidal corksoakers.

If there's anyone who deserves to be hanged by the gazengas head down over a slow fire next to "Swinging" Dick Cheney it's Karadzic.

I met a guy in 2002 from Bosnia who could not understand why US warplanes had bombed Serb military positions.
He asked me if the US people KNEW that the Serbs were actually fighting Al-Queda mujahideen...I told him likely they did not.
