Manchester City are hoping the positive energy of feng shui will help them in their pursuit of silverware this season.

So second place in football is a set of steak knives?

Is it just me or was subby trying to bait the non football lovers (or mods) in to thinking it may have been Old Trafford? Clever indeed.

They could win the treble again. That would be a boost.

I know I totally agree...you'd have to be living under a rock - or in the United States, to not know which Manchester club subby was talking about.

FTA: in the hope that the Far Eastern tradition will have the same success that it did for Tottenham Hotspur, the Carling Cup champions

Way to shoot for the stars there, Carling Cup? I can see that they will want to win ANY kind of silverware, but way to shoot for the championship. Hey, how about signing talented players like teams that actually win hardware that matter.

Two Manchester City threads in the same week? That's gotta be a record. Heck, two City threads in the same year is a record.

OrlandoTwo4: thats the only team in manchester that anyone cares about.

Finish below the top six and I bet the Manure fans would desert their 'team.' City averaged over 25,000 a match in the old Second Division (League One now).

and ... judging from the City-United results from last year, United needs the Feng Shui. And I bet all of you United fans thought it would be an easy six points.

Ummm...look at Champions of 2007/2008 and UEFA Champions League Champions of 2008 and tell me if those six points really mattered, or that Feng Shui for that matter.

You obviously don't know shiat about english football.

When you've got a crazy owner who seems to always be trying to pay some outrageous amount of money for a player it'll happen.

See Exhibit A: Chelsea.
