bambi121899: Next year's All-Star game is in St. Louis? Is MLB going to provide each player with his own handgun?

Downtown Saint Louis is just as safe, if not safer, than the Bronx. The odds of getting mugged are pretty damn low, and greater crimes are even rarer.

However, if any players feel like cruising by the site of Busch Stadium I at Grand and Dodier they might rethink their plans.

Dogfacedgod: Light were added in 1946?

How did they take pisses in the restrooms?

"light a match"

Its new York. They just pissed down the neck of the person sitting in front of them and they shat their own britches. Same as today.

hachijuhachi: RTX: The Designated Hitter is an abomination and a blight on an otherwise perfect game.

THIS!

I was kind of hoping this would turn into a DH flamewar.

Gee, I missed the DH Hall-of-Famers in the pre-game. Who were they?

2008-07-15 10:00:43 PM
ok, who was it that invoked the name of Frank Caliendo? We're now stuck with one of his asinine commercials. I don't know which is worse: Caliendo or the damn song in this Keineken one.

OMG This is the first all star game in Yankee Stadium since 9/11!!!

It's the Boobies 9/11 All Star game at Yankee Stadium that Josh Hamilton has been sober for.

Nobody can blame you, they are supposed to score in this game.

Just drink more each time anybody scores.

Sadly I was actually mugged in downtown, near the landing.

It wasn't fun.

I'm really hoping they just let Haren do 5/6, Webb do 7/8, and Volquez do the 9th.

Abbott: The man on boobies is Who.
Costello: That's what I was asking. When you write the paycheck to the guy on boobies, who gets it?
Abbott: Naturally.

that would be kind of surreal.

Everyone on the team plays small ball from time to time. Some are just better at long ball, but nobody depends on it totally.

Anyway, I got off track...

I might go to St. Louis next year. That is one of the finest cities I've been to.

If you're a single guy, look up "PartyLite" (^) Conventions. Find out where it is, and get there.

When I was in St. Louis in 2004, there were 10,000 EXTRA women in the city with nothing better to do. Me and my buddy ruled that night.
