Two Face was a farking travesty in Batman Forever. He was never conflicted. He didn't once play the "good" side of Harvey Dent. He just kept flipping that coin until it turned up scarred and made Nicholson's Joker look subdued and dignified. farking Joel Schumacker.

Is Tommy Lee Jones a bad actor? Of course farking not. Is it easy to make Arnold look like a retarded pussy no. Could George Clooney have made a convincing Batman? Of course he farking could. Could the Batman/Robin relationship not appear gay? That one might take an ounce of talent but it's been done in the comics.

I'm going to go on record now as proclaiming Joel Schumacker to be worse than Uwe Boll. At least that kraut didn't ruin entire franchises.

Well now I'm all worked up and I have to go to class all pissed. fark you Joel.

Mugato, this is for you.

Bruce: We hack the internet
Alfred: Hack the internet?
General: No one's hacked the internet before!
Bruce: Well, there's a first for everything.
General: Ok, I like it. But which one of the internets do we hack?
Bruce: All of them.

Heh, I read that before.

Have you ever been to Toys R Us, buying stuff for your niece or nephew (okay and yourself too) and they have all these action figures from a movie that have all these ridiculous weapons that no one would ever actually use in the real film? Michael Bay would top all of them and then some.

/almost got nephew a transformer figure that didn't actually transform WTF?
//got myself some sweet Indiana Jones stuff

This. He just laughed his ass off throughout the entire movie. TLJ's most disappointing role ever.

Heh, looks like Tommy Lee doesn't understand that this isn't actually a sequel. IIRC, Nicholson had that same problem.

"I thought he died," Lee replied recently when we told him Eckhart was bringing the character back.

Since when do we use the person's middle name only when quoting them in an article. Stay classy MTV.

I just can't wait to see the makeup. Eckhart said in a previous interview that and I practically quote: "I went online and say a number of pictures that fans made up as to what it might look like. None of them came close. Nolan went over and beyond. It's absolutely hideous."

FTFA: When Batman really came into his own with the 1960s TV show that bared his name...

It would be really nitpicking to give the writer grief for a typo misspelling of "bear," but this one doesn't even realize that they have entirely different past tenses. The TV show BORE his name.

Or did it tear the clothes off of his name, too?

TWO FACE from the new movie is all over the internet, just do a google image search.

For the record, i couldn't hear the interview over the sound of how awesome this movie is going to be.

Mugato:Could the Batman/Robin relationship not appear gay? That one might take an ounce of talent but it's been done in the comics.

The biggest problem with Robin in Batman Forever was that Chris O'Donnell was in his mid-20s. So of course it looks gay when a 25-year-old circus performer moves in with a rich, single middle-aged man.

I know it's not a popular idea, but I honestly think they could work a Robin storyline into a third film for the current franchise. Even if they didn't have Robin, they could still introduce Dick Grayson.

I don't think it would be unrealistic for Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne to take in a 12-yeaer-old kid whose parents were killed in some kind of violent crime. Just make sure the kid is of an age that he would actually need a guardian and don't have them sleeping in the same bed or any weird shiat like that.

I remember really looking forward to Batman Forever, even though Burton or Keaton were not involved, it looked good in the previews and the Seal and U2 videos. Then I saw it and walked out after the movie shaking my head. Granted, it was no where near as gut wrenching, vomit inducing crap that was Batman And Robin, but it still sucked real bad. The Riddler was beyond terrible, Two-Face was weak. Val Kilmer didn't do too bad of a job with what he had to work with and Nicole Kidmen looked good, but other than that, Schumacher laid the foundation for a near total destruction of the franchise with that one.

Rev. Skarekroe:Heh, looks like Tommy Lee doesn't understand that this isn't actually a sequel. IIRC, Nicholson had that same problem.

This. Why is it so difficult for other actors to understand the concept of a revamped franchise? I saw an interview with Bruce Campbell the summer Batman Begins came out and he mocked how inaccurate the title was, considering how the franchise started years ago.

Seriously, its not really that hard to figure it out.

I'm going to admit something here: I'm GLAD that Joel did those films. It helped pave the way for the entire abolishment of that series, leading to something far greater than even Burton's work.

You left off:

"Alright, everybody...CHILL!"
"Adam and Evil!"
"Cool party!"
"If revenge is a dish best served cold, then put on your Sunday finest. It's time to feast!"

I still believe that "Batman and Robin" was made on a dare. There's no other way anyone involved with that picture actually thought they were making a good movie. In any case, Joel Schumacher and Akiva Goldsman should have been thrown in the Supermax prison for the rest of their lives for turning out that cinematic abortion.

I can imagine Joel Schumacher sitting in a recliner, holding a brandy snifter, watching interviews with Chris Nolan and the cast as he strokes the cat sitting on his arm chair. He starts to cry softly, thinking that he'd killed Batman. But alas, he realizes, he failed, and thus puts a gun in his mouth and the rest is history.

Charlies' Angels is another good example. Kate Jackson got all "we're reclaiming the brand" after the second movie came out. Hey, it isn't Drew Barrymore's fault the three actresses from the television show couldn't get away from that series fast enough. They only embraced it after the movies made millions. Tough.

Schumacker does suck. Is he dead yet?
