Yes, but in Hypotheticalland, the massive damage to our economy due to McCain's unilateral invasion of Iran totally outweighs the loss of these 600 jobs in Hypothetical Colorado.

Hypothetical Colorado State motto: "Nil Sine Pasta"

McCain probably wears black dress socks with his.

Couldn't he have picked a better company to make his point?

In addition to Zubaz, Crocs are now also Republican-friendly attire. Perhaps McCain will lobby for the struggling fanny pack and slap-bracelet industries next.

Project: Ugliest Outfit in the World will close the elctoral vote gap.

I wore jelly shoes in the 80s. They were hideous AND uncomfortable. I'm fairly certain this means I'm not allowed to mock Crocs.

Can someone find a video of McCain promising to close down the Croc factory if he's elected?

(the "video from last week/last month/last year which directly contradicts what he's saying now" trend seems to be the only thing going strong with the McCain campaign)

Someone should have mentioned to McCain that crocs are an abomination to mankind.

I want to hear the candidates' takes on fauxhawks. I'd support the war in Iraq if we could just draft those idiots and ship them out. I think it's what my children's children, who'll still be paying for the war, would want.

American design and entrepreneur.

Then they were made in Canada and Mexico.

Now, 95% of brand-name Crocs are made in... wait for it... ah, hell, you know where.

I don't wear mine to work but for slip ons to walk outside for short trips like checking the mail they are pretty nice. Crocs utility and price over looks.

I cannot foresee any circumstance where I would be happy wearing those hideous shoes. They would even take away all the joy in doing Angelina Jolie doggy-style while teabagging Natalie Portman.

Price? Aren't these $.032 worth of plastic retailing or $50+?

Well Barry is already telling me that I can't drive what I want and I can't keep my thermostat where I want it so why not decide what I can wear?

Seriously, I got some 2 dollar flip-flops at the Rite Aid that work for just this purpose and look a lot less stupid.

Why not? He is for gun bans when he needs to be. Then he isn't. He is everything to everyone.

If you happen to work in a hot kitchen much of the day, odds are you'll end up with a pair of Crocs eventually. They really are the more comfortable than any other shoe I've tried that's appropriate for kitchen work.

Wouldn't wear 'em anywhere else though.

No, this is how stupid you look wearing crocs.

I am fully ashamed that I own a pair of crocs, but they are not allowed off of my property. If I go out in public, I have to wear real shoes.

Well, lets explore that. So if Barry is going to lecture me that I shouldn't drive an SUV or keep my thermostat on 68 then perhaps he shouldn't?

I guess we could ditch some celebritards there or something.

As for the merits of the war itself, I don't see much of a point any more. I thought capturing/punishing Al Qaeda after 9/11 was a good idea but the GOP played the farkwits in this country like a violin so they could have their pointless war in Iraq. We were buddy-buddy with the Taliban before 9/11 so we could get a new oil pipeline so the war has nothing to do with their general dicketry. If we can't fight Al Qaeda in Pakistan then there really isn't any point in hanging around the general area.

If we aren't going to fight terrorists with our war-on-terror then how about we not fight it back here and save some dough?

Obama as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (Google or YouTube it), he's best buddies with big names like David Rockefeller and Dick Cheney. Bottom line is that Obama is their sidekick.

His promises and ideas is BS.

Crocs are ugly and make you look gay (NTTAWWT)

Plus, if you wear them on an escalator, there's a pretty much 99% probability you'll be horribly mangled and permanently maimed.

All that aside, the effin' article fails to present Senator McCain's doubtless unassailably logical explanation of how an Obama presidency would end Crocs as we know them.

"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK. That's not leadership. That's not going to happen."

Well if "we can't" and that is "not going to happen" then WTF else does he mean?

In his Denver, Colo., town hall meeting just now, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said that the trade policies of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, will hurt the ability of Americans to sell to foreign markets those weird trendy plastic "Crocs."

Trendy with whom? Trailer park residents? Makes me wonder about McCain's base if he thinks this bullshiat plays.

2008-07-07 09:08:08 PM
Shaggy_C: Sen. Obama (D-IL) generally supports free trade policies, though like many of his fellow Democratic candidates, he has expressed concern about free trade agreements that do not include labor and environmental protections. In a February 2008 speech at the General Motors plant in Janesville, Wisconsin, Obama said he "will not sign another trade agreement unless it has protections for our environment and protections for American workers." Just another neoliberal like the rest.

Sorry guys, your 'change' is looking more and more like the same old.
==================

A guy who cares about the environment and the protection of workers rights is bad? Are you high?
