"Ms Jordan said: 'To be honest he was a bit embarrassed by it all. He liked the cake in the end.'"

How did he get the cake in his end with that star on it?

There is nothing offensive about a baby's ass.

I noticed NBC was blurring out the baby asses on its promos for "The Baby Borrowers", but I assume that's because the baby ass was covered in baby shiat, which they can't show on TV (because, of course, at the FCC, nobody poops).

A nude baby pic? Horrors!

Everyone knows that babies are born fully clothed and with cute little pink or blue shoes...

Grow up, people. Sheesh.

A spokesman said: "We did not say it was pornographic. It is policy across the board that we don't do nudity of any sort at any age. It is nothing new."

Well, here's the problem:

Asda is a chain of supermarkets in the United Kingdom offering food, clothing and general merchandise products. It became a subsidiary of the American retail giant Wal-Mart in 1999,[1] and is currently the second largest chain in the UK after Tesco, having overtaken Sainsbury's in 2003.(Wikipedia)

RubberFootMan: A spokesman said: "We did not say it was pornographic. It is policy across the board that we don't do nudity of any sort at any age. It is nothing new."

They probably just figured it's safer to make a rule that leaves no room for interpretation, given the pedophiliphobia currently raging in the UK...

Half-baked policy.

/takes the cake

///can't hold a candle to most bakeries

Why do I have this disturbing vision of Chris Hansen huddled in a closet with this cake slllllowly licking the icing?

2008-06-27 08:42:08 AM
This is overreacting in an extreme way.

2008-06-27 08:44:13 AM
But they'll still make a cake in the shape of boobs, right?

/right?

Yep. To be honest, no matter how innocent it was, I'd rather not have any pictures of nude children on my computer...

...a year later, the computer goes in for repair, deleted files are recovered, etc etc. No matter how quickly and adequately you explain, you are always going to be the paedo guy.

That's what most people think until their future aunt-in-law sends a picture message of her kid's dirty diaper ass.

/anyone got some Hansen ASCII?

I submitted this yesterday, as did several others, and we all did it with the Asinine tag.

Behold, the wonder of Fark!

This is horrible, despicable even. If we cant have pics of a baby's ass on our cakes, how else am I going to be able to fark a cake in public without looking like a sick pervert?

Maybe I should switch to farking pies...

I have the mandatory baby butt picture of my son. And I have the same picture of myself as does my husband and my own mother. Since when has this become "pornographic"? I used to run through the sprinkler naked all the time, too.

Nudity is an integral part of childhood, dammit!

2008-06-27 08:57:45 AM
because it's better to establish the taboo by making it look like porn with a star shape censoring the picture than to just have a normal baby picture.

rawkus: Images are disabled in this thread?

With this topic, are you really surprised? I applaud the mods for being proactive for saving the image posting masses (myself included) from bannination land.

So, the blue-nosed values of Arkansas, home base for Wal-Mart, are taking over the UK. Take that, King George....

Acquaintance of mine who lives in Bern had all his computer equipment confiscated by the police because someone had been downloading kiddie porn using his (open) wireless connection. Even after the police had confirmed that the IP addresses showed it wasn't him doing the downloading, they still wouldn't give back his kit. Ridiculous.

With all this stuff going on I was suprised that when i watched bubble boy they showed everything in the first few min of a naked baby boy.

No one would have wanted that slice anyway.

What I find more disturbing is the tendency to run crying and whining to the newpaper instead of saying "ok" an heading down the street to the next baker. people seem to equate big businesses with government and bemoan restrictions against them that don't really affect them, when all they need to do is demonstrate free enterprise.

2008-06-27 09:02:06 AM
New meaning to the term "piece of ass".

No, just one with a flower for me, thanks.

Yes. 1999 is definitely an issue.

Agree with Sgian Dubh. Why does everyone expect this bakery to support these perverts? I don't care if it is a tradition for Grandma and mamma have pictures of naked children. It is perveted and I actually wish the bakery had contacted the police and had these perverts arrested. A legitimate photographer is questioned and banned at children's sports meets but a parent can take pictures of nude children? I really enjoy seeing "soccer mom" type parents on the receiving end of idiotic policies.

Made me think of this:

Baker: Hi! Welcome to Sexy Cakes, the erotic bakery.

Young Man: I walk by this place, I never thought I'd go inside it.

Baker: Well, I think you'll find that it's a little more fun than an ordinary bakery.

Young Man: Yeah, my friend's having a bachelor party, and I thought it might be kind of fun if I got him an erotic cake.

Baker: Well, you have come to the right place. I have the perfect sexy cake for a bachelor party. [ opens box ] Oh, what about this one. What do you think?

Young Man: Looks like a woman going to the bathroom.

Baker: Yeah! It's very sexy!

I'm by most accounts a healthy, well-adjusted female but I can't stand all that Anne Geddes crap. Baby nudity doesn't get a pass just because alot of people, mostly ladies, find it cute or funny. I can understand having baby pics of your own kids, but if you're not related to the kid pictured, it's just weird.

Should've gone to Sainsburys. A friend of mine got his bare baby ass put on a cake. Cake had never been so unappealing

3/10 for some effort at spelling and punctuation.

/Somewhere in some family album is a picture of me at about 5, covered in glitter, wearing pigtails, a plastic toucan nose, pink leather cowboy boots, and flowered panties.

after 2 years in Korea, I got pretty tired of seeing, not only baby's bums, but baby penises in photos displayed outside photo shops.......

giant billboard-sized baby penises in many cases...

apparently, it's a sign of honour to display your son's penis to show the world you have a son...
