28v lithium ion.

Been keeping my eye on:

Yeah, but the thing is, I have a bunch of 18v stuff already. I'm already vested in DeWalt 18v.

Every time I go into the steel supply I see a wall full of the 28v and just start drooling.

My DeWalt 10a angle grinder has been put through hell making my smoker and it keeps on ticking.

Still tempted to put a metal blade in the miter saw and use that to cut my angle iron...using the angle grinder for it all is getting old.

Need to break down and just buy a damned band saw already.

it's actually one of the oldest filters there is. installed because of rampant overuse, way back in the day (much older than this account)

This went in with the smallest torque wrench and power drill I have ever seen. I don't recall a screwdriver being used, though.

Milwaukee owns them both.

My 80 year old father-in-law ended up in the hospital after a different dentist dropped a screwdriver down his throat.

/now back to your tool discussion.

2008-06-21 09:00:10 AM
These things are not so much a screwdriver as they are a very small Allen (hex) wrench. Get your component hand tight, then slide on a small torque wrench, turn that thing to 35 N/cm, and you're done. I can see a shaky dentist's hand dropping the hex wrench, but you gotta be a real moron to drop a torque wrench (about 4 inches long) and an even bigger nincompoop to swallow one.

I always tell my patients that things get slippery, and if anything falls to the back of their throat, to sit straight up and spit it out.
