Pulling for Boston, if only to not have to listen (watch) Stephen A. Smith. Even muting the TV doesn't help.

I hear Kobe is good at forcing things.

Boston, had the Patriots won and assuming the Celtics win, could have had all 3 major American team sports championships at the same time.

Looking it over, I don't believe a city ever held the "Big Three" (Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals) titles at the same time? I even went back to before the NBA to do NFL/MLB/NHL, and no go. So, that would have been pretty impressive, although I guess we can thank the Giants for making sure that Bostons sports head didn't engulf the entire eastern seaboard.

True, but, having the NFL, NBA and MLB championships at the same time would have brought it to a new level.

About the only thing I wish is that it wasn't New York that prevented it, that almost makes it worse.

If the Celts lose tonight I am going to be a nervous wreck for the rest of the week.

But that is negative thinking. The Celts need to show up in the first quarter and have a sold game from their bench. I think they have a good shot at this one. I hate to state to obvious but tonight is a must win, when it goes 7 i dont think home court means as much (the other team being confident and all)

LETS GO CELTS!

I blew off today, and then I told the GC that I would try to get to the jobsite by 10:30AM. I'm gonna smell like death when I get there.

I won't be too worried. Some of the Celtics' greatest playoff series went seven games, and the first two series with the Hawks and the LeBrons went seven. So even though I don't want a long series, it's not the end.

At least we have both Ray Ray and Perkins available. One thing I wondered though: where was Big Baby? He could have at least clogged the lane, and taken some of those fouls Pierce and Garnett got.

hope everyone enjoys the game...may the best team win...I'm too nervous to Fark

That is what Leon is for. Big Baby feels the need to shoot the ball every time he touches it on the offensive end. He is too much of a liability.

Why are you nervous? The Celts got this thing wrapped up. The Garden will be rockin, Perk is playing, Rondo is way better at home, Ray Allen is back in town...

I'm not a fan of either team so I'm rooting for the Lakers in this one for no other reason than I'd love to see the season boil down to a single game. There's no greater spectacle in Basketball than that 7th game

I'm sure Celtic fans would wholeheartedly disagree of course

Racism for dummies:

Hating someone because they're a douchebag = not racist
Hating someone because they're a different race than you = racist

not all that complicated

Although I highly doubt it will happen, if the Lakers win this series in seven games it will be the greatest moment in sports since they beat Boston on that shiatty parquet floor back in 1985.

If Boston doens't win, does that mean Danny Ainge doesn't have to blow Kevin McHale every week for a year, as was agreed in the Garnett trade?

Howls of anguish in the New England area are music to my ears. The thought of arrogant self-righteous self-entitled pricks screaming about referees while looping a noose over the shower rod is so very exciting.

L.A. fans, the bad ones, are just stupid.

Boston fans, the bad ones, are complete assholes.

Go Lakers.

Man, my 4 year old wanted to watch this game. Too bad she has guitar lessons on her 50th Anniversary Edition Fender Stratocaster, complete with locking tuners, roller bearing nut, SW-1 Switching, and Maple fretboard.

you can say whatever you want about whoever you want

But when all is said and done, and if the Celtics happen to win, don't say shiat about the refs. No one wants to hear it.
