Back in my day, phones hung on the wall. If you wanted your phone to be mobile, you got a 500 foot phone cord and carried it around the house.

I'll admit that it is a little weird seeing people on their phones 24/7 texting, talking, taking pictures, surfing the internet, reading email but enough to warrant it as a mental illness?

Cellphones are just being integrated into the human experience, as will other forms of technology as they are developed.

They are virtual reality tools that are very convenient to learn, use, and buy.

I recommend we switch her over to a new "STFU before I slap you silly" therapy. It was pioneered by the Mayo Clinic. It's very innovative.

In a completely unrelated note, I just came back from watching The Happening, and I want my god damn $20 back.

M. Night Shymalan,

please stop making movies immediately.

Thank You.

What, the fact that they're advertising its R rating didn't clue you in to the fact that the movie itself has nothing worth showing off?

You know there was a time when something like the ability to read adn write along with the tools necessary was only available to a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the population. Now every can find paper, pens anywhere, and very few have no reading or writing skills. Does that mean society has been somehow "addicted" to the written word? That literacy is a some new punk fad? That we have it too good?

Of course not. The fact is, communication is what binds societies together, and cell phone make communication much easier. Old people who don't like cell phones are about as useless and obsolete as someone who can't read. Technology advances. Get over it.

If you look above you will see that I said $20. This one I am going to have to blame entirely on my girlfriend.

/I'm going to take that $20 out on her ass later.

I just loved submitter's headline; it's so true. My mom lives in Spain near the beach and she complains all the time about the young kids farking in plain sight on the beach. It must be good for her blood.

Talk and sex.

That's sums up Spain reel gud.

I hope so. M. Night Shymalan is terrible and should never be seen on the big screen.

I teach teenagers in an all-day GED classroom. I start every new semester giving them the benefit of the doubt. They can NEVER handle going 60 minutes without some kind of phone contact, so I invariably end up having to confiscate them and give them back at the breaks.

/They can go four hours without peeing if they want
//Two hours without water
///Can't make it 1 hour without the phone

Signs was the only movie of his I liked. Why you ask? Pure comedic genius! Seeing Mel Gibson shout "I'M INSANE WITH ANGER" was worth every penny of it. And the whole foil hat deal, hilarious! I laughed the whole way through the movie.

When I'm out walking around town, it seems that 9 out of 10 people either have a Lt.Uhura thing in their ear or a cell phone clamped to their head. Are people that insecure that they can't walk down the street without talking to their friends and broadcasting their private business for all to hear? I think most of these people aren't talking to anyone at all.

/don't own a cell phone
//nothing is that important
///if it's bad or good news, you'll hear about it soon enough
