I think this is a great idea. Unfortunately, I get 'generic errors' whenever I try to search for anything.

when I clicked on 'register' I get a warning that the certificates don't match. I don't think NG is trying to rip me off, it just seems odd for them to have a less than polished web site.

Or is it just me?

I tried to register (it's free!) and it generated and error about the URL field not being filled in. I didn't see a URL field on the screen (plus it had erased all the crap I already filled in) so I gave up.

I love NG, and photography, but don't feel like messing around with this website today. Sigh.

I too remember getting my first prepubecent twinges from looking at all of the exposed native breasticles in National Geographic.

Sweaty, dusty, fly-caked, African boobies. Mmmm....

I did a boolean search for "Dead AND Horse" and it returned a picture of a campfire.

I did another search for "bikini" and it returned pictures of fish.

The search for "apples" worked though.

Nat'l Geographic photographers rock. That's on my list of dream jobs.

Timberbeast: I think you mean www.photo.net, which is a pretty cool site, loads of information, and not afraid of nudes. I think www.photosig.com is a better site though, and has a lot of interesting work in it. Look for the link to the "Most controversial" photos for some good stuff.
