He's spending his time in the medical ward separated from the other inmates because of his age.

The motion filed Monday asks to have the sentenced changed to house arrest until Bollea turns 18.

America is degenerate. There is no way this young man should be in prison. He clearly needs psychiatric treatment and some new life skills. Putting him in jail solves nothing. He is perfectly capable of be rehabilitated. He just made a mistake. I don't know about house arrest. Inpatient treatment at a mental health facility would be better. But anything is preferable to imprisoning a young man for making an honest mistake.

I think Kitwilly was better than this guy. Still though putting him in jail because his passenger was so farking stupid to wear a seat belt when he was a passenger in a street race doens't do society much good. Sure the kid is a douche bag but that's what civil court is for.

Yes, Gwendolyn, suicidal troll, ET AL, youre right. Celebrities ARE better than us, and as such shouldnt have to pay more than lip service to the laws us lowly proles must obey. And when theyre caught breaking them, celebrities shouldnt face any punishment, because theyre so much better than us. Even if their actions result in permanently crippling one of us lowly disgusting peasants, they shouldnt face so much as 8 months of jail time, reduced to 4 with good behavior, because theyre so much better than us. So he caused some kid permanent brain damage. The gimpy kid didnt have his own tv show? well then fark him!

Because stories of celebrity failure brings vindication and perspective to our otherwise dull, miserable and pointless lives.

Classic literary drama has never been based on the common man.

Munchausen's Proxy: Why are all of these C, D, E list and obscure psuedo-celebrities have reality shows? Apparently people watch Kimara (sp?), or have an interest in Dion Sanders, but why?

There are way more channels that need air time filled nearly 24 hours a day. Think about it. If you have a semi-recognizable name you're a shoe-in for a reality show, simply because there are around 30,000 out of the 300,000,000 some odd Americans that will tune-in to watch your antics as opposed to Wheel of Fortune.

If you think about it, just about anyone can have a reality show because they're so cheap to make, all you need is a camera and a name. Why do you think those YouTube people get television deals? You never see their shows (if they actually pan out) simply because you don't watch the channel they're on... but they're out there.

Tila Tequila is a good example of this. All she did was make a MySpace account, but she got her name recognizable to the point that MTV (as outmoded as it is) as opposed to Bravo or A&E... or even Spike picked her up on it.

The sad part is that this sort of thing will only increase as time goes on. I'm not saying I don't have cable or a television, but I only watch stuff I feel like watching. The problem is when this stuff clogs up the actual news that I watch - though it is funny when bad things happen to these people.

That's why people watch... to see people better off than them farking up. That's why people watch situational comedies, it's watching someone else deal with situations they don't want to be in, only instead of actors, it's real people being real dumbasses.

ElTaco: it makes you a shiatty driver.

I saw a replay of an episode (replayed on E!'s Talk Soup, I think) where Nick was trying to get a race license. He immediately wrecked his brand new Dodge Viper (all the other guys had Nissan's and Mustangs). Hulk got on the phone and traded a commercial for some parts the dealership took off of a car in their showroom. Nick went out and within a minute put the car into the wall again.

Maybe I just answered my earlier question. People like to watch the epic failure.

BTW, Nick is apparently has been ticketed and arrested a number of times for street racing. Street racing is very dangerous, particularly for bystanders. Jackasses like Nick will lose control and drive into a crowd of people.

2008-06-03 08:49:25 AM
The last thing I read about this was the article I think on tmz(??) with the audio of Hulk and Nick talking about how he can get his own reality show because of this. They can focus on his struggle in prison and how he's going to get back on his feet, etc.

Was that audio found to be true??

If so, little farker can sit in jail.

2008-06-03 08:51:37 AM
Came here for the Hulkster's deodorant commercial..and pleasantly giddy about it.

Incidentally, that jackass needs to experience how jail truly is. How are you going to get the point by being treated like a sheltered little biatch?

You won't. That's the problem. Let him try to survive on a day-by-day basis in general population.

Oh hell yeah. It's public record. There is another tape of them talking in some stupid code because they finally realized they where being taped.

it's cute that you hold any commpasion for this asshat who has absolutely no remorse except that he got in trouble.
my heart truly bleeds for the youth of America, and responses like this prove that we are evolving into a sissy-state. Prison is what this kid needs. His buddy is a veggie now because of him. He's a racer huh? If so, then you would think he had the professionalism to not practice racing on civilian streets with innocent bystanders, including his buddy. No retard it wasn't an honest mistake. Sure he prolly didn't intend on crashing his car, but he sure as hell intended to drive recklessly. We have a major problem in our society, we are no longer diciplining our children because somehow somewhere we were told that striking our children is child abuse. Ten years ago, you could have spanked your kids, now it's child abuse. We are reaching a point where we let these kids walk all over everyone, and letting him go to house arrest from his already very lax sentence isn't going to teach him anything. He isn't going to learn anything. I think this asshat is a lost cause, and I am not gonna pay any more attention to him than I already have. Frankly I think the little turd needs his ass beat.

Have some self respect for crying out loud. When that kid gets out, everyone's going to know that he's a whiny wuss. The sentence isn't that long. And it's jail, not prison.

At his age I was worried about looking and acting like a man. Crying about being in jail and trying to circumvent his comeuppance is shameful.

Hulk must be proud.

I swear this kid needs to get a wake up call while in jail, you know.. where bubba comes over and wants to be your friend.. then the little runt will BEG to be put back in solitary.. I hate it when these celebrities (I am going on low sleep here sorry) think they can get away with crap because they or their dads are famous..

that crap he was talking about his friend really sickened me, and his mom needs to be slapped more than a few times.. I lost ALL respect for the Hogan family and I hope they all ROT in hell when this is over..

I normally wince when I see this phrase used, but DIAMFF you piece of shiat waste. I don't hate you because you are rich. I don't hate you because you are spoiled, or even because you are a douche. I hate you because you have no regard for anything other than your own self preservation and happiness. It's all about you, and in your mind, it always will be. You will marry someday, and cheat on your wife, because it's about your happiness, not hers. You will fatehr children, and neglect them emotionally yet spoil them materially the way your parents have. You will die as you lived, on your own pedestal of smug, unearned superiority.

Sad, Sad, Sad is all I can say. Why don't we just let everyone who makes a mistake go scott free, If I do believe, street racing is illegal? And while doing under the influence and underage, still illegal? Turning your best friend into a vegetable, a mistake, you can go home now Nick, just dont do it again ok. Must be your teenage brain, guess you didnt learn the first time you wrecked the car. Maybe you can blame this whole thing on your friend. Oh thats right you are. Frigin tools

He's in a County jail with non-violent offenders, not prison. Most of those guys are in for theft or drugs and are usually there for less than a year. Not quite Oz.

Since the kid is a veggie anyway, i can't wait until the family pulls the plug or he dies. once that happens and they charge him with vehicular homicide or something else, he'll certainly get a change of sentence...a MUCH longer one.

Just because someone is a jerk doesn't mean they aren't human. Being hated rarely turns a person into someone who can be liked or loved. He may be a jackass, but at his age, with his family's wealth, that isn't exactly the rarest of things. I probably wouldn't be friends with the guy, but I'm not so messed up as to have vindictive feelings against him.

When and where did I say he wasnt human? Why don't you try actually reading before you post your useless comments. And I am sure this kid didn't pop out of the womb hated by everyone. He grew up into an asshole. And I do agree, with wealth, such as his redneck dad has, cases like this are not few and far between. BUT why should he get away with this when had it been someone who wasn't famous would not have? This and the B.S. with Paris Hilton is just another example of the double standard we allow for people with money. This is not Hogans first brush with the law and I am sure it won't be his last. If he is allowed to get away with this, the only thing he is going to learn is how to get away with it again, and maybe next time...his friends won't live. I'd rather throw his ass into General Population now, than to take that chance. WHY SHOULD HE BE TREATED ANY OTHER WAY THAN YOU OR ME? PUT YOURSELF INTO THE VICTIMS PARENTS SHOES...wouldn't you want the asshat who turn your precious snowflake into a veggie locked away?

Jail can suck HARD. I was In LA's system and its medieval - some huge skinhead guys I got bussed in with were pretty nervous - and then I got nervous cause these guys were massive. They dont call it Gladiator School' for nothing. It sucked man - this kid doesnt know stress -fuk him.
