anyone else feel this is one of those "learned their lesson" cases? I mean, he was 14. 14 year olds do stupid shiat. He didn't get the money, and I would like to think he's matured since then, and this whole ordeal I'm sure has taught him to respect the law. I don't think he should be locked up for the better part of his life for this. I don't think he should get off scot free either, but he's facing 25 years in prison! Aren't there far worse people out there to lock up for such a long time? Is he *really* a danger to society now?

True he is an idiot, but you would be surprised how many people know nothing about computers. Since most of us are in the tech field in some capacity we have vast knowledge of the internet and computers in general. However, I would say that this is the vast minority of Americans.
