Give it up, Ronald. You'll never touch Chick-Fil-A, so stop trying. I'm a militant atheist and I eat there anyway is how good those damned sandwiches are.

I'd also like to add that this is nothing new, has anyone here seen a soccer jersey before?

A friend of mine was at the Rose Garden in Portland when they were announcing the formation of Portland's WNBA team (I can't even remember the name - Fire?) years ago. Two lesbians were sitting in front of him. One says to the other, "This'll make everyone forget about the Blazers!"

Haw.

They are pushing that damn sandwich like it's the second coming of Christ.

Anyone know why, exactly?

It's true, I think even the MLS has more fans. But yeah, phallus tends to be a dick in threads, just look at his name.

I had a coupon for a free one and I tried it yesterday. Greasy bun, chicken was rubbery and three limp pickle slices. Crap.

Women's National Basketball Association players will wear McDonald's golden arches on their jerseys for each team's season opener...

This is just going to confuse people. They will think it's a high school all-star game.

No way am I gonna waste 5 hours (10 hours when you count the trip back) to get some chicken sandwiches. Maybe if I am already on a road trip to SoCal I'll look for it. What city exactly is it in (or at least what area specifically)?

There is one in south Santa Ana, a few blocks north of South Coast Plaza. And there is one in the Tustin (or is it Irvine) Marketplace.

To be fair, the Blazers were pretty terrible two years ago considering they were still starting their rebuilding process.

But yeah...heh...WNBA is boring. I'd still rather watch the Blazers of two years ago.

I went to college in Redlands, CA. A few months before I graduated, a Chick-Fil-A opened in one of the shopping centers. A quick Google search brings this up:

27520 W Lugonia Ave
Redlands, CA 92374
(909) 307-8719

Oh. make no mistake... they were terrible. 21-61. I would just turn the TV off every time they got down by 17 in the first quarter, which was a LOT. But their smallest home audience that year was probably larger than at any WNBA game ever.

I actually did, and they had no locations within 50 miles of San Jose. They wouldn't let me look for ones beyond 50 miles, so I gave up and relied on this thread for answers.

/Thanks for the info on locations Heamer and airplayne, btw

Sorry, I just put in CA with no city, and found one for you in Fairfield, about 86 miles away. Enjoy.

akugyaku: Candace Parker is mad hot, that is all.

The thing is, I'd only seen her in games, or random publicity shots and thought she was alright, but nothing spectacular.

But in that little snippet of her during the Lakers game in just casual makeup and attire...whoa mama

/cant find any youtube of it :(
//and the stuff from a GIS doesnt do her justice

I've never met a single person who's gone to a WNBA game; then again, I'm not sure I've ever met anyone who's considered women's basketball a sport either.

Coincidence?

Right on, at least that one's actually in the Bay Area.

Oh and I'll cosign on the comments regarding Candace Parker.

Makes sense since Fairfield is the gateway to Sacramento and the rest of Calitucky.

Wow, nothing like something that's not really chicken being used to promote something that's not really a sport.
