Too bad nobody drinks Amp. The track would be covered with that shiat.

Subby here.

At least the green light cheered me up.

It was strictly a racing deal. Shrub and Jr both went into the corner hard and Shrubs car got loose on entry and he had no room to save it. Shrub immediately apologized after the race and Jr even said it wouldnt be like Kyle to just wreck him. Both wanted to win the race, neither did.

2008-05-04 12:56:53 AM
So Shrub is an asshat because Jr. came down and pinched him? Watch the full replay - the front tires on the 18 don't turn to the right until after contact with the 88. That contact was initiated by Jr. coming down the track. I like Jr. and all, but some of his idiot fans make me cheer when things don't go his way.

2008-05-04 12:58:49 AM
NASCAR drivers should be allowed to carry guns. That would be so cool.

And Jr. also said Kyle would need security tonight. If you watch Kyle turned him. Kyle is still pissed cause he got kicked off Hendrick for his spot.

Regardless, best race I have seen in awhile. These guys are getting comfy in the COT. I live in Bristol TN and the races here sucked the past few. Hopefully by the August night race it will be more like this one.

I know Kyle. I've worked with him before. I worked in racing for many many years. Both drivers overdrove into the corner. Jr turned in early to give him a little more room when his nose shoved up...Kyle prolly had a tad too much rear brake because it appeared from the head on view the tail rotated immediately at turn in. Yes you can see his front tires turn right into Jrs car but that was strictly to save his car. In a nutshell Jr pinched Kyle and Kyle got loose on entry....just a racing deal. Neither was an asshat......just racing hard and Im sure both of them have already talked about it by now and all is cool.

/believe it or not, Kyle is really a class act

All I can say is that while Jr Nation is proving how whiney they can be, for once people can't blame the #42 so this is a positive situation for me.

Tiredude99: /believe it or not, Kyle is really a class act

You've said that a million times.

Simpy put, it's horseshiat.

"The fact that came down and thought why would I do that deliberately is beyond insane," Busch said. "I drive a race car and when I make mistakes, someone's got to pay for them."

Busch was apologetic for the contact, but said nothing would placate Earnhardt's fans.

"For some reason, they're awfully confused," Busch said, "because they were giving me the No. 1 sign the last 10 laps of the race and I was in second place still. I don't know if those are too many old Dale Jr. Budweisers or whether they're Amp-ed up or what. For me, there's nothing you can say."

Combine this with ten million other douchebag comments and actions, and after a while you just have to label someone as what they are.

He tried to start wrecking people on lap 5, just couldn't pull it off.

2008-05-04 01:17:09 AM
So basically, the way to win a NASCAR race is to drive conservatively and wait for the last 20 laps for the top 3 drivers to start shiatting all over themselves. I hear it works for presidential primaries too.

Yea, he had a bad night, but he can't be blamed for wrecking Jr, so I'm going to take that as a victory and keep waiting until Sonoma.

Absolutely nothing. All Kyle can do is work it out with Jr himself

He acted like everyone at the track except him was the idiot, which, for him, is exactly what should be expected. He doesn't have to kiss anyone's ass, just make it through the night without making an ass of himself. But that's too much to ask, and always has been.

/not a Junior fan

2008-05-04 01:27:11 AM
That accident never happens if Busch's teammate doesn't park his still-drivable car on the track.

Absolutely NO FARKING REASON for Hamlin to do that. He had lost the race, and he was driving an UNSAFE VEHICLE that he KNEW needed a tire and refused to pit.

Junior had over a SECOND lead before that caution comes out.

If you're on the inside and make contact, your wheels would move left, not right, to get away from the contact.

Kyle didn't brake. He wasn't spinning out.

This is much, much worse than the Vickers thing. Kyle has a HISTORY of pulling crap like this. This is NOT an isolated incident with him, ESPECIALLY given the Hendrick backstory.

2008-05-04 01:33:59 AM
Wasn't Busch's fault. Junior tried to come down to soon and farked himself.

He might be a jackass, but it wasn't intentional.

2008-05-04 01:34:01 AM
The ironic thing about this is Kyle is out there driving the wheels off the car week in and week out and yeah maybe he does get his nose into some shiat here and there and the fans all get up in arms over it and call him an idiot and a douchebag and whatnot.....there was someone else who drove just like him and did the very same things Kyle is doing now, INCLUDING leading the points.....and instead of people calling him douchbag and idiot, they called him Ironhead.......

He does have a history of this kind of crap.. His real gift is making it questionable. You can tell from the replays that he turned his wheels to the right, but there's no way to say for sure whether or not he was just pushing into the corner (and losing it) or if it was intentional.

Either way, it sucks. I thought for sure Jr. would break his streak when he took it over at 11 to go.

2008-05-04 01:34:59 AM
Just got home from the race here in Richmond. Wow. That was a hell of a thing. Heard on the scanner that Jr's pit crew was going after Mr. Bush after the race. Hamlin's crew was just staring at the ground during his 2 lap penalty. Poor dude. Would have been good to see the guy win at his home track.

Exactly. I don't doubt that he got loose going in. But he then made the decision to turn into Junior and either save himself by using 8 wheels, wreck Junior, or wreck the both of them. Those are the three possibilities by doing what he did. There was only one possibility had the turned the wheel to the left; he would've spun out all by himself but backed it into the wall. Didn't want to do that, so he turned right. I don't necessarily fault him for that, either, but it is a selfish decision. The part that gets me is that he goes on after the race to say, in so many words, "the fans are all drunken idiots." That, combined with all the other stupid shiat he's done over the past several years, is just goddamn ridiculous.

I'm a freaking Tony Stewart fan. He is one of the SURLIEST DRIVERS ON THE CIRCUIT. And even I'm appalled by Kyle's behavior. He is reckless driver, with an inflated ego and no responsibility.

That's a picture of the first instant of contact.. Pretty clearly shows him turning right up into Earnhardt. If he was pushing, he wouldn't have been turning that way. Even if he was loose, he would have been turning left to avoid arcing straight up into the wall.

Shenanigans, imo.

2008-05-04 01:44:50 AM
This was I think the third Nascar race I've ever watched. I felt really bad for that one guy to have his car just slow up because of the deflating tire, but really, why the hell didn't he get his car into the pit for new tires? I then felt bad for Dale Jr. because they wouldn't shut up about his victory drought. And that guys car still being on the track ends up causing a caution that killed what almost certainly would've been a win for Earnhardt.

Meh, I know almost nothing about racing but that was kind of frustrating to see. Also, not so sure I can watch a whole race. Only caught the last 70 or so laps and I was getting crazy antsy over just that.

2008-05-04 01:48:15 AM
Pardon the cliche, but I submitted this with a way better headline. To quote Eric Cartman, it was simply:

"Dammit, Kyle!"

DJShamrock: ..it's like Talladega all over again.

No, it's not. The Talladega incident was isolated with Vickers just being stupid, not reckless. This was a pissed off, immature driver who was being a reckless, unsafe dumbass, aided by a selfish teammate who parked his drivable vehicle on the track so they could catch up.

2008-05-04 01:51:35 AM
Formula One laughs and asks for more speed, right turns, braking.

2008-05-04 01:51:37 AM
The only reason Kyle Busch is any good at racing is he's has a rare form of down syndrome that makes him retarded enough to drive fast, but also gives him the advantage of of having retard eyes that are 2" higher up on his head than they should be. Hence giving him an advantage as he can see more around the Hans device and over the hood.

img167.imageshack.us
Example A.

Nascar should look into this and lower his seat 2" to make it fair.

Next they will be recruiting more mentally retarded children to race Nascar. They are easy to pick out of a crowd.

img368.imageshack.us
Confused Pete would make an excellent driver. Look at his face. That's a man who show's no fear and wouldn't mind peeing in his firesuit over long Charlotte 600 races.

2008-05-04 01:52:05 AM
Attn: All Kyle Supporters:

If Kyle's car was so loose, how was he catching up with Jr? One would think, with how well Jr. car was running, that a very loose car that was hanging on by a thread would have been smoked by Jr.

MattyFridays:
...and JUNIOR ISN'T?!??!?!!?

I didnt say anything about Junior. My point was 25 years ago people were saying the very same things about another driver. That driver turned out to win 7 championships and become the most beloved driver ever.

IMHO Junior is a good driver. Prolly one of the top 10 drivers out there. I dont think he is the best. I feel the best drivers out there like driving loose racecars and Jr doesnt like a loose car. These cars and tires need a looser setup to help them rotate in the corners. Thus you see drivers with car control backgrounds running up front. JJ drove offraod racing, Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards and Smoke ran dirt ovals....I know Biffle loves loose cars as does Shrub....these are the drivers you see running up front week after week.

Yeah Jr nation is pissed and I would be too but what can you do. The only winner in this is NASCAR because they now have a new plot in their ongoing soap opera and they might be able to sell some more tickets for next week.

2008-05-04 01:52:16 AM
You all are whining like it's gymnastics at the Olympics.

2008-05-04 01:52:28 AM
If Hamlin had got his new tires back when it was going flat and he knew it and only 16 cars were on the lead lap the caution would not have happened for him blowing the tyre, not sure if he stayed out to deliberately cause a caution and therefore give Busch a chance to close up on Junior and go for the win.

In the end it is going to be a racing incident, Busch won't do much to win fans & influence people (in the right way), Busch could learn to be a little less careless and learn patience but that isn't his style. The stupid thing is that Busch was probably going to get the pass either at the next corner or one after and still have a good lap to run in the lead, but nope he had to have the pass now and farked it up.

2008-05-04 01:58:05 AM
Earnhardt was pulling away when Hamlin, his tire now fully deflated, stopped on the track with eight laps remaining to bring out the caution. NASCAR officials were so convinced he did that intentionally to let his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate [Busch] catch up that they penalized him two laps.

Oh yeah I am friends with Clint Bowyer so congrats to him on winning today. I also to graphic design for Jr. Motorsports freelance.

Whenever he comes to Bristol we get to go to his Jack Daniel parties and get wasted.

I took this pic of my wife Michelle on the left of him and my friend Meredith on the right.

We got kicked out of the place we were having the party cause they didn't have liquor licences so we drove around in Limos all night getting shiatfaced. Clint is hilarious. If he wasn'r a Nascar driver he could be a comedian.

Wow, Jooonyurr Nation sure does have its officially licensed green-and-white AMP Energy Drink/Mountain Dew/National Guard #88 Chevrolet Impala panties (available at Wal-Mart and other fine retailers) in a farkin' twist tonight.

Ironic that Jooonyurr's daddy done made a name for hisself wreckin' folks to win races, and was hailed as a hero for it.

MattyFridays: No, it's not. The Talladega incident was isolated with Vickers just being stupid, not reckless.

I'm a Vickers fan. The one thing he's ever done that disappointed me was burnouts after he won. I have no doubt that he didn't mean to wreck both the 48 and 8, but IMO he should've just parked it in victory circle. I give him a pass because it's isolated and all the off-track stuff that made it so important to him to get that 25 a win before he left. But it wasn't a great move.

Yes, but his fans knew how to use punctuation.

Also, a driver who wrecks someone and goes on to win, as Dale Sr. always did, is written off as colorful. A driver who wrecks someone else and doesn't win, despite having his teammate intentionally bring out a caution for him, is just written off.
